Arcee is yet again... more than meets the eye.
First off before we begin the review. This is the Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Arcee, NOT the Earthrise Deluxe WFC-E17. Take note, lest you be disappointed. The images of the figure are the actual figure you will receive.Arcee has been released many many times at this point. She has been made into a headmaster, has had her own mold in a Transformers Generations figure, and is even getting her own Masterpiece figure! Things have definitely changed since the 80s when Takara and Hasbro decided that boys didn't want female actions figures and robots. This version of her is from the Bumblee Cyberverse Adventures line. The Bumblebee Cyberverse adventures is a heavily stylized animated series and this figure follows suit, hence not very G1, and more it's own thing. The figure itself is well molded and looks pretty good. I do wish they spent a little more in paint, especially on the head. The only paint you're getting there is 2 eyes, 2 eyebrows, and the lips. It does feel like this figure could benefit from more color work, all the light pink plastic feels pretty monotone. The tranformation is solid, and both the vehicle mode and the car mode look very good. The weapon are once again monotone (in the same pale pink plastic again). The blaster "effects" are clear blue and serve to look like "cool" SFX.Overall I do really like this figure.. It is fun to transform and displays well.BONUS? This is part of a Build A figure line. That means you can assemble MACADAM if you buy 8 other figures from the line. So MACADAM is a cool character from the original G1 transformer comics, but really only got his first big role in cyberverse. I DO really like MACADAM, but the figure is distasteful to me. I hate when i see transformers that don't transform. It feels lazy to me. Could they have made MACADM transform into some kinda funky space ship? Yes? Could they have made him a "Shell former" so he'd be easier to design? Yes! Did they do that? No. They made a standard posable action figure. That's why I find this figure distasteful to me. Arcee is still cool though.

A Lot of Misconceptions
There's nothing wrong with the figure. The plastic quality is durable and the limbs' joints have good tolerances. Only abuse will cause the shoulders to come out of socket. Even still, you can pop the arms back onto the ball joints easily. Also, the transformation is well engineered. All 4 wheels DO touch the ground. Any complaints about the car mode are from adults who don't have the patience to troubleshoot or cleverness to look up video instruction. Even a longtime fan, such as myself, got stumped initially. Step #5 in the instructions is where people are making their mistake. The only flaw is that the tailgate is prone to paint loss at the edges but that's a nitpick. Nonetheless, such a fun figure!

I recieved a different item than what is advertised here.
This is supposed to be "Transformers Toys Generations War for Cybertron: Earthrise Deluxe WFC-E17 Arcee". I received the "Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Arcee". Not happy that I did not get what I ordered. The figure I got, does have a kind of cool look to it, but again, it is not what I ordered and that is not cool. My daughter liked it a lot and I ended up giving it to her.

Box came crushed. Correct Item Picture, Wrong Product Name and Description.
I pre-ordered it based on the product picture belongs to Transformers Cyberverse Adventures Arcee, NOT War for Cybertron: Earthrise Arcee WFC-E17. There is another listing belongs to WFC-E17 Arcee instead, so I know this post gotta be Cyberverse. However, the packaging was sent through the soft, lightly padded yellow bag. It arrived torn with a hole. The box is also crushed and has completely lost the collectible value. There is also no more stock for replacement. As an adult collector, I'm very upset. The figure itself is as expected from all the Youtube reviews. It's cute, but the kibble in the back makes it bulky and a budget toy. If it's not for Maccadam figure body parts, I will not collect the Cyberverse Adventures series.
