It will block the glare, however, what comes with it is blurred screen. Yes, the screen will be blurred and sharpness goes way down making it unusable at medium to high resolutions. It was complete waste of money.

As other reviews have stated, the effect of the anti-glare filter is to blur the glare, so that instead of appearing like a mirror image of the environmental light sources it appears as a diffuse haze in front of the image on the computer screen. The anti-glare filter also somewhat blurs the image on the computer screen. The effect, in my opinion, is highly beneficial, making the image on the computer screen much easier to see and making the glare much less distracting. We have two desk-top computers in our household. Having seen how effective this filter is on one of them, I have ordered another filter for the other computer.The product offers two methods for attaching the anti-glare filter to the screen, one with adhesive strips and another with adhesive edge clips. I did not succeed in making the adhesive edge clips work. They pulled off the screen when I was attempting to insert the filter. However, the adhesive strips worked easily.

While the glare was minimized, the screen resolution looked blurry. Even with adjusting my monitor's brightness/contrast settings, I was still unable to get rid of the blurriness that the screen protector produced. I even tried adding additional adhesive to the sides to get the screen protector as close to the screen as possible. Unfortunately, I ended up not using it because I felt like I needed glasses to see the screen clearly. Yes for glare reduction, no for blurriness.

Fit screen perfectly. Uses adhesive strips that are nearly transparent but not completely and thus affect viewing slightly. Very fast delivery.

This is a terrible product - completely USELESS...2 years ago I bought a Anti-glare screen shield from another company for my Macbook Retina as I did a lot of portable work and it worked wonders but they didn't stock any for 23" screens.This is simply a bit of diffused plastic that is thick which reduces glare at the cost of readability and clear images. It's USELESS. I got a headache within 10mins of trying to use it.see an image in my dropbox of what I mean. Overpriced garbage.

The screen works well for glare. The adhesive design needs more thought. I gave up on the tapes enclosed and used scotch tape instead.

Helps me see my screen, I have a window behind me I had to keep the blinds closed because I couldn't see anything. It was like a mirror. This screen helps so much! Mine is a touch screen and you still have the touch screen option with this screen too.
