Quicker to stabilize light than the 1965 bulbs I replaced.
Excellent light that quickly brightens. Replaced bulbs I purchased in 1965 (not from Amazon). I’ll check back in another 56-years to inform you if the new bulbs are still burning.

Revised!!! Very happy!!!!
The bulb (notice the singular) works wonderfully. Unfortunately, it was to be a 2 Pack and I only received 1! I am not happy with this. I have repeatedly tried to contact Amazon and they are not answering telephones right now. So I am out my money and I still need another bulb. If this can be corrected, I will revise my review.REVISION: After contacting Amazon I did receive an updated order. Arrived one day after submitting review. I am extremely happy with seller and my purchase.

not working
I just received my two bulbs and was excited to insert over my kitchen sink to have light again. My original bulb died after like ten years or more. However, when I took this new bulb out of the package, which appeared to be 'cushioned' well for shipping, but the bulb has a 'tingle' noise inside as I tipped it vertical as I climbed up the stool. Odd? I inserted the bulb anyway but it did not work. Frustrated, I got off the stool to retrieve the second bulb that I had ordered. That too has something loose inside that makes the 'tingle' sound if you tip it slightly. Are they broken inside? I don't know. But both of these new bulbs have something loose inside that moves from top to bottom as I turn them and neither of these bulbs light. Hence, I cannot recommend the bulbs. P.S. I took down bulbs from my closet, they are old, but there was no noise, nothing loose inside. Leading me to believe the two new bulbs were simply delivered broken.
