Will probably buy more as I need them.
I have some of these that I am using in my storage garage and they seem to work fine. One of these was DOA, but issue was resolved easily. I bought this batch for another shop I just bought to start the rodent eviction process. People that say they dont work, don't understand the concept and/or dont use them correctly. These devices generate a high frequency noise that rodents cant stand. It doesnt kill them, just makes it very uncomfortable for them. Kind of like trying to live in a room with a jackhammer going all the time. It can take a little while (days to a week) to see a big difference. One other thing - since these generate sound, one is needed per room. And you may need multiple ones for large rooms.I live out in the woods and also have a storage garage for classic cars. Mice and voles are all over the place here. I use a couple in my basement, 2 in my shop, 2 in my camper and about 4 in the 7 car storage garage (probably overkill). I may see a mouse on occasion or can see where they may start building a nest, but they never stick around. I still use some mouse bait over the fall and winter, but areas with these things hardly ever have any feeding at the bait stations. Also, on the rare occasion that I may store a car outside for a while under my pavillion, I put one in the interior, one in the engine compartment and one in the trunk. Yeah its a hassle, but I have NEVER had any rodent damage to any of my cars. A lot cheaper than replacing seats and wiring or cleaning a nest out of an air cleaner. (Which my neighbor has done and they use mothballs in their car)

Anyone who says Ultrasonic Pest Repellers work is Delusional
I bought a couple of sets to warn off the field mice that inevitably enter basement in fall and winter.I had the occasional visitor but one is one too many.I put one in every socket throughout the whole house. I have two very expensive service dogs and I didn't want any mice walking in their food bowls etc.Since installing them, the mice population has quadrupled at the very least. Where I never saw a dead mouse or live one, only a few random droppings on occasion, I now see signs of an enormous mice activity.Every opening had been plugged with steel wool, every crack crevice or possibly entry was sealed off prior to purchasing Ultrasonic Pest Repeller. The directions were followed exactly since I purchased them. THEY DO NOT WORK AT ALL.I have no spiders or bugs, but I feel like I am now harboring the neighborhood mouse population in my basement. There is nothing for them to eat or draw them in in the basement, but now since I saw a mouse poop on a counter I know for sure they don't work. I then checked every draw and cabinet, which had been done prior to installing the repeller and there were signs of mice there also. My home is spotless, my food is always stored in airtight containers and my dogs are fed off the ground so there is no reason they should be around. The temps have been freezing this year, far below normal temps for NJ, however with all the repellers I have it should be deterring any pests from entering.Frankly, I think they are attacking them instead of repelling them.Time to call the exterminator again like before installing repellers. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. THEY DON'T WORK ON RODENTS and Bell and Howell should be ashamed of themselves for advertising they do. I have been buying their products since the time of my first 35 slide projector and beyond, but now I don't trust in their advertised wording of their products.

Should be called 'Flea Be Gone'
I was going to give it a 3 because it really only works in fairly open spaces---and there it does a good job--but I had to add a star for the fantastic job it did with fleas. My cat is extremely happy with the Bel & Howard pest devices, he was scheduled for a flea bath and with the fleas gone he was spared that, and we have been spared the inevitable hitch-hikers we get when the cat rubs round our ankles.

They work. Who knew?
I live in the country and thus have an abundance of bugs that sometimes make their way into the house. With such a mild, wet winter fleas on my dog and cats have been awful this year. After countless bug bombs, animal treatments, and exterior pesticides I ordered these as a last resort. To my surprise they really work. After the first day I saw fleas and spiders all over which I assume is because they are trying to escape. After a week of use I hardly see any bugs. We also have always had a problem with flies getting in the house and this has absolutely chased out all the flies. I really always thought these things were gimmicks but they truly do work. I only have two complaints. First the flashing red lights are annoying especially in a dark room. We covered them up with tape the first day. Second the repellent makes no noise but the flashing LED makes an annoying click. It's not really an issue with the large and small units but the medium size ones have larger LEDs and thus make more noise. I will probably order another package of these for my shop and camper since they work so well.

Bought these a year ago due to squirrel problems. Constant scratching and scurrying behind the walls at night - especially behind our bed! All I can say is - I was a little skeptical when I got them - installed in any wall socket where we were hearing noises - 1 year later - we haven't heard a sound. They WORK!!! Plus, we didn't need to pay an expensive exterminator, use pesticides around our home - we've had a year of experience with them and I am a satisfied customer. No more scratching and scurrying around at night. Just ordered another set for another part of the house.
