They do work but your expectations have to be set in the realms of science, they can only do so much, i put 2 stones that were at -24 C into a 40ml shot of whisky that was at 22 C, the brought the temp down to 12 C. Which was pleasent. It didnt dilute the drink if that is what you want. Ice cubes can make it colder as they are also diluting the drink. Oh and they look great

Excellent packaging, bought as a present so can’t really comment on how they are.

I was genuinely surprised at how well 3 of these cooled a "tall drink".One or two in a wee dram is sufficient to get the right bite.If I had a criticism, it's that space is at a premium in my freezer, so the nice to look at wooden block is a bit of an extravagance. But I just put them in a freezer bag and leave the block out.

Two stones lower the temperature of the drink by a maximum of 3-5 degrees

I have purchased these as a Christmas gift and received them today. Arrived quickly and we’ll packaged and are cold even before they’ve been put in the freezer! The wooden tray is a nice touch. I’d say the only possible improvement might be to have the option of a round tray to mirror the stones but this one is nice regardless! Great item would buy again! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

OK, so this is a set of six stones, and they are made of stone! Not tried them as they are a gift, but I am sure they will do the job. However, the description and the packaging clearly describe the hardwood tray that they sit in, which is, in fact a cheap softwood tray which has been stained darker, and as a gift it does take the edge off somewhat.Amazon, this is clearly being mis-sold!
