The mascara itself is nice, dark in color and smells like chocolate menthol. I recently made the switch from their original lengthening mascara because it isn't vegan. It goes on smoothly with one or two coats. With just one coat, my bottom lashes may appear naked by the end of the day. The oil in the formula makes corrections easy with a cotton swab or my fingertip. Also, if you curl your lashes after you apply, they won't stick to the curler. The brush is a little too full and fluffy for me, so I replaced it with an original brush from my old tube. It fits the same, but I have to wipe off excess product as the brush is thinner and doesn't have as much 'resistance' when pulling it out of the tube. I will definitely be purchasing this mascara again.

Let me preface this by saying, I use another one of 100% pures mascaras, the one in the silver tube. That one in my experience is so much better. I have been using that for years but when I needed to re-up it was unavailable so I purchased this one.I see other people say they like the smell, the smell on this one is strong to me. The other 100% pure smells nice, not too strong and the smell goes away soon. The few times I applied this, the smell stayed for a long time. I also can’t really stand the smell since it smells an awful lot like a more natural/clean nail polish remover I use.Finally, I give this such a poor rating because the rate at which this mascara smudges. Im not doing anything extreme for the mascara to run- not sweating, not going to the gym- just pretty much existing and it runs.I would not recommend this at all. Going back to the 100% Pure silver tube, that’s the best, hands down.

This 100% Pure mascara is the best mascara I ever owned.It's clean and organic which is #1 for me. It doesn't contain any chemicals that are in all other mascaras, 'clean' and top brands alike.It's not the long lasting version, 100% Pure has another mascara that's long lasting but I find that this is the same effective and long lasting.It really builds my lashes and makes it thicker and fuller.It doesn't run or smear at all throughout the day.This is everything you need in a mascara!

I've been looking for a gentler option for a long-lasting mascara. I hate how smudgy many mascaras get around my eyes in humid weather, but I also don't like harsh ingredients around my eyes that need to be scrubbed away.I've used some 100% Pure cosmetics several years ago and I appreciate the fact that most of their ingredients are plant-based and gentle. This mascara promised to be long-lasting and it was discounted (from its normally steep $26 price).It smells really good, which is no doubt due to ingredients like passionflower oil, rosemary, thyme, and lavender extracts. It goes on smoothly without clumping and gives a natural-looking emphasis to my lashes. I prefer mascara that looks natural and isn't too heavy or dramatic. If you're looking for extreme length and volume, this probably won't be enough for you.It held up through hours of wear outdoors on a humid day and only smudged a tiny bit when I rubbed my eyes. But, it washed off fairly easily.The regular price is a bit more than I like to spend on mascara, but it's definitely good quality and suits my needs.

it lengthens my lashes sooo much and it thickens them and leaves a very false lash effect for me it’s so pretty and the mascara is dark to so it makes my eyes pop oh and not to mention it smells SO GOOD like sweet ish fruit and the packaging is pretty and shiny

The mascara has a great Ingredients list and aroma. The color was pretty when first applied but did not last long. It smeared a lot on application and throughout the day. My lashes were only lifted for the first few minutes after application. It is not worth the price.

The 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara was sold out in black, so I purchased this. With organic products, you sometimes risk quality for purity. In this case the risk did not pay off. The mascara launched off my eyelashes all over my face with application, unlike the fruit pigmented mascara. It also barely did anything to lengthen or boost my lashes at all, and seemed to wear off pretty quickly. Bottom line, I would not purchase this again unless I couldn’t find anything else.
