LED Disco Ball - DMX & Sound Controlled RGB DJ Party Light

I purchased this product to use for my daughters' 10th birthday dance party. The product was delivered promptly The disco ball was used on our patio at night and it really set the mood for the party. The patterns changed according to the music playing. NuLights sent me an email with the step by step instructions for using the disco ball in anticipation of the delivery. It was super easy to use and I had no issues with it during the party. I think it would have been a better effect if I we would have had time to hang it somehow, but we put it on the ground since the dance party was on the patio and it reflected nicely on the surrounding walls for a cool effect. I would recommend this product and vendor.

I used this to light up a Zumba event in a large gym and it did not disappoint. It filled the space and created a fun atmosphere. Easy to use with lots of color options. I love that it matches the beat of the music. Highly recommend!

The light is fine but I can not find any support as offered by nulights. Can not find a web page. I called the 866 # and received a strange message.

Fun product but could definitely be improved with more straightforward programming and by including a remote. Not always convenient to have to fiddle around with the tiny buttons on the face of the light to switch between modes. When using the sound activated mode I only had success when placing the speaker and light within a few inches from each other. Seems to mainly pick up on songs that are bass heavy.

Disco lights not as bright as others I have had by other companies but units work as described and seller stands behind their products

The media could not be loaded. This is very easy to use, and the setting are enough, I’m not running a club😅, just birthday 🎂 parties. It is a fair price for the priceless smiles of my family members😊. So long as my niece and nephew don’t manhandle it, it will withstand cake smears, sticky fingers, and a lollipop 🍭 stuck to it. It’s a good find and great deal, I was impressed. I still have to mess with other settings because I just used it, however, I’m happy 😊.

(REGARDING DMX CONTROLLING) There is a small experimental element that is needed to figure out which faders do what. Other than that, it is perfect! (Could be a little more brighter though, but if you turn off all lights, its good!)

EDITED (see below): The unit I received was clearly already used before. The clear plastic dome was dirty/had scratches, the sticker of the front panel was half peeled-off, and there was not a remote control included in the package as other reviewers and pictures note down. Also, the motor gets stuck sometimes momentarily but makes noises pointing out that it won't last for very long.Lights are bright and it does its job, and the fact that it has DMX is quite impressive. However I can only give 1 star for shipping me a used -probably defective and returned- unit.EDIT: customer support reached me very quickly over the phone and offered their apologies and a refund, which I received immediately. Kudos!! I think I just got unlucky with a bad unit from factory, probably refurbished. The unit does offer a lot for the price, specially that DMX connection. I'd recommend you try it as long as you have reasonable expectations. THere are videos of th unit that give you a good idea. It does NOT come with a remote (but it's not advertised, so totally fine)
