Color didn't matter. It fit my Dyson perfectly!

The item I received looks and feels like the original Dyson part. Even the logo is the same on the box. Fits my V11 Torque Drive perfectly and works as expected. There are subtle differences between my original blue wand and this orange one, like the orange one is a tiny bit longer but the connections are slightly shorter as pictured. I did weigh them both though, and the original blue that came with the vacuum is 267gr, and this orange one is 272gr. Since orange one is longer, it actually may be lighter if it was of the same length. Anyways, 5gr difference is like 1/100th of a pound, so it’s negligible. The paint job on it is also amazing. Since different sellers source these to Amazon, different people may get different items as one reviewer mentioned it does not fit his V11. This one I got was sold by Oak Lawn Vacuum and shipped from Amazon. Thanks for reading, and YMMV.

It worked just like the original. Was quite happy to be able to replace my defective item.

I thought that this product would help my existing Dyson with new suction. However, it really did not help with that at all.
