It’s made cheap as hell but it’s a great alternative to a $350+ Set of rails. A little difficult to assemble as the directions seem they’re for a different rail system so you’ll have to look at a tutorial on YouTube but after getting it all figured out it’s a very sturdy system for the price, I was able to stand on my rails like you see in one of the products pictures.

Barely managed to find a spot it would attach to on my car however it said FITS 2015HONDA FIT i got it attached BARELY. claims it holds 76kg or 167.5lbs yet bows with a 77lb kayak on it and the rear one seems secure until kayak is loaded then the anchor hooks pop off once kayak is strapped to it.. absolute pain in the rear to attach to a smaller frame car. Looks very cheaply made and cant even get the frilont one to release from my car at all very dissatisfied

I drive a 2015 Volkswagen Passat TDI for the fuel economy, and I am also a roofer, so I bought this to hold my ladder and occasional sheet of plywood. It works! Honestly, it’s kinda noisy on the highway, but it’s pretty easy to take on and off, so when I’m not using it, I just throw them in the trunk.

Actually, calling this thing trash is a disservice to genuine trash everywhere. It's much worse than trash, it's a pile of reeking scat.OK, here goes:1. The instructions were vague at best and poorly written (lets just leave that there).2. There was no indication which of the two hook styles to use.3. The "plastic tool" which is needed to tighten the support pads, was plain missing. I had to use other tools which didn't work well and I wasted hours of time.4. The plastic seemed cheap and easily broken (it deformed when tightened).5. The ratchet mechanism was defective. It would "tighten" with the mechanism open, but slip back when closed flush. Basically the metal cogs would just go back and forth when the bar was moved. Ultimately, it would not tighten.6. The reason I use "tighten" in quotation marks was because even when the bar was flush with the rack, the attachment piece would easily come completely off with a little wiggling (like when you might hit a bump in the road).7. In conclusion, this thing can't be trusted to stay on your car unless your car doesn't move. Maybe not then either.8. I wish I could give it negative stars.Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Not as bad as other reviews say, the install instructions are okay, although recommended to place flat surface on roof-rack to level and for rail placement. The wind whistle is minimal. For the price, it does the job. Looks good too !

Worst piece of garbage. Do not waste your money. Over clicked a bit, can’t back it out even though the directions explains how in poor English. I cant even install it but if I did, I can tell it will fall off because the way it attaches is not the right shape for my vehicle (2008 Ford edge). Cheap and potentially dangerous. Doesn’t deserve one star but review made me put two.
