Works well
I've only used this once so far but worked well. kept ice and items cold for a good amount of time on my camping trip. Love that you can use the dial to adjust the air. seems rugged enough that it will last

Happy so far! Holds ice for almost 2 days (based on math, read at end of review).
Update: I've used this on several overnight trips, soccer games, day hikes, beach days, and basically anytime I need a cooler. Keeps stuff cold and it takes a beating. I've bought these as gifts for people now as well. Best cooler I bought. I did buy new straps for mine that have padding and are more easily adjustable in order to make it comfy for longer trips. If the stock straps had padding, I would give it 5 stars all they way.Let me start by saying a few things about some of the the bad reviews I've read.Valve doesn't work - the valve allows you to add air in order to give more insulation. It's not a drain hole, if water does come out of the valve, it's either condensation or you have a leak.Clouser doesn't work-It's a roll top bag, similar to a dry bag, the reviews which cite that it does not close properly are most likely written by folks that don't know how it works.Weak straps-this one is true, they are not very well made, but they will most likely hold up for short adventures.Improper stitching - Again, probably true, the stitching is wide spaced near the closure and might fail with time. However, all other seams along the body and interior appear to be seam sealed and will last as long as the glue holds. Now for the my review on ice retention. I measured everything in SI units, but I'll provide Imperial conversions at the end. I used 2 ice trays worth of ice in an empty 20l Brr bag, with the ice weighing 358g at the onset. After 3 hours in 30 deg C temperatures, I had 211g of ice remaining. I alternated leaving the bag in direct sun and shade at even intervals. This equates to a loss of ice at a rate of 49g per hour. Converting to Imperal units, this would be 1.73 ounces of ice lost per hour at an average 89 degrees Fahrenheit.Meaning, a 5 pound bag of ice would last 1.9 days in the Brr bag at almost 90 deg F.However, as ice continues to melt and the more that the bag is opened, the quicker the ice will convert to water. Meaning that the 1.9 days of ice retention I calculated is an overestimaton. I did take this on a 9 mile hike with 6 cans and 4 trays of ice, and it stayed cold all day in moderate heat as well as being exposed to my body heat for nearly 4 hours.Considering I purchased this for 14 dollars, I would say this product is worth the money.

Well abused for a while and still work great
these are perfect to use as a "lunch bag" or keep your cold stuff from getting warm on the ride home from the store. The large one is a little bit to big to drag to the beach but worked perfect for shopping. Other than some small holes caused by me stuffing sharp corner objects in the bag they have has no issues.

Super portable
I take this cooler bag with me everywhere. Float trips, cross country, picnic… I’ve had this item for about 9 months and it’s great. Especially for cramped spaces when you can’t fit a hard sided cooler in, like my small car packed with luggage and sports equipment, or on the kayak. I really love that it two carrying straps so you can wear it like a backpack making it easier to transport when very heavy. Also, the air release valve is handy as well. It’s not going to keep your ice frozen as long as some of the other coolers but the portability has been great for me.Also, we’ve spilled some nasty stuff in there, like milk, and just rinsed it out and let it air dry and it has never become moldy or nasty. This is a great cooler bag.

Disposable best describes this “cooler”
Bought this cooler bag to add some cold storage in addition to my small lunchbox style soft sided cooler. I use the soft sided cooler for long adventure motorcycle trips. It was very cheap and has the same basic design: a soft flexible liner, some insulation and a soft outer liner. I didn’t expect much from my $15 lunchbox style cooler, but I did from the Brr Bag. To set the scene for my soft sided cooler experience:My old cooler has never had a leak, or torn any stitches in two years of regular, hard use. I ride about 10k miles a year on my adventure bike and about 30-40% is off road. OHV trails, logging roads, backcountry discovery routes all around the pacific NW.This BRR bag from Wise Owl literally went ONE day to a motorcycle class where it sat in the shed with ice and drinks for students. When I brought it home from class, I noticed that it had a hole in the bottom. I dropped the plastic bag of ice twice on my garage floor to break it up into small pieces and then placed it in the Brr Bag that morning. It then rode in my hard pannier to class where I put it on the floor of the range shed. I have no idea how this material could get a hole from such light use.The problem now is that water is trapped between the tissue paper thin liner and the outer bag. This negates any insulating properties the bag may have had. The stitches where the bag attaches are also already coming loose from carrying a seven pound bag of ice for half a day. This is unacceptable. I saw the reviews noting the stitching and straps breaking and coming apart, but we all think we’re special and that others don’t take the same level of care we do with our gear. I can tell you, I have quite a lot of experience with gear in different environments and this one was handled for half a day in perfect weather riding on pavement and carrying the smallest bag of ice available for sale.If Wise Owl wants to be treated like an American company (even though the design is the only stateside portion of the business, and everything else is done on the cheap in China) then they need to step up and redesign with proper materials, take care of their customers and not just churn out trash like this bag. This design is good on paper but not if Wise Owl uses such cheap delicate materials and construction methods. I hope they fix this and not just sell Wish-like trash until it is no longer lucrative then rebrand and start over. Time will tell what sort of company Wise Owl is: a money grab until they’re discovered to be terrible, or a company that does the right thing and is recognized in the outdoor community as a rockstar with loyal fans.

Insulation good but buckle broke
Have been using this a couple of times per week just loading with food and having it on front seat of car on busy days with the kids. Insulation works great, but the material is still off-gassing and now the buckle is broken. May be fine if using as I have, but not on rough terrain as in camping/backpacking.
