These are amazing. I use them for the gym, or for errands around the city. They are comfortable for long walks, have pockets and suck everything in. I got one and decided to get another. Might buy every color later and not use any other legging. I got size 3XL.

Because I’m old AF, Activewear really isn’t my jam. I prefer a more classic look for every day. However two life events took place that made me change my mind. The first was a 17-pound Pandemic weight gain. If I had a dollar for every bag of tortilla chips I consumed during the last six months, I would be able to afford to move back to NYC! And not have to work! The second event was cataract surgery ( and yes-when you get old it’ll happen to you!). Forgetting about the impact this pandemic has in connection on healthcare, I recently had the first of two cataract surgeries. Dopey me. I wore a little black dress thinking I would have to change in a hospital gown. Instead, I had to wear my lbd during surgery! Not wanting to expose my gorgeous panties or worse, a blanket was placed over me.Needless to say my thoughts were “NFW am I wearing a dress to my next surgery”. And so, I let my fingers do the walking over to Amazon! And I found these leggings/ pants/ activewear thingies. Oh am I thrilled with them!Regardless of my expanding hips, thighs and gut, I went with the Medium. At 5’6” and 157 lbs, the fit is fabulous! My gut is sucked in and the high waist is super Post-menopause friendly! I’ll admit, these could be a tad longer in the leg but it isn’t a deal-breaker!The fabric is thick and opaque so you can keep transparency for your personality rather than what you’re wearing!And these have pockets!! Holy Cannoli! Pockets! When I go back for my second cataract surgery, I can slide my insurance cards and IDin one pocket and my cell phone in the other! This is epic as purses aren’t allowed at the surgical center! Who knew that this activewear would come in handy as surgical attire? And I can work out too! Well, I’m lazy so let’s just say I can walk my dog in these pants!The price is right, the fit is flattering and fabulous Nd I need another pair! These are great! The GYM PEOPLE Thick High Waist Yoga Pants with Pockets are a game-changer for my workouts. Im 5'5, 141 lbs and bought a small. Me saying the size is super important because its SO hard to figure out sizes in reviews for clothes and no one wants the hassle of returning or exchanging. They are super smooth, thicker but not crazy. The high waist is great for that mommy fupah i have, and bc ive lost weight semi quickly recently from a medical condition, so buying clothes that are smaller and fit good is a journey. I bought black ones first then 2 days later ordered the dark grey. I will definitely be buying other colors soon, great quality and sizing for the price! Since Kohls no longer has my Apt leggings i used to love and i ubtil i buy my new Tek Gear ones, these will be my go to.

I have a love like relationship with these Bottoms. I love that they stay in place and the waist does not roll down during HIIT class. After a few washes the hip and side pocket part of the bottoms started to peel on both sides of Bottoms. Booo! Thats the only fault in these pants. They hold me in, that stay up, the color has not faded but they look like I've had them for 6 years not 6 months.

My measurements come out to be just under XL, but I bought size S (I just bought leggings from another seller, and I bought the size based on my measurements, and they were way too big. Not unflattering, but not needing compression or 4 way stretch material.); I probably could have gone with x-small because there's still no need for compression or 4 way stretch. They're mostly skin tight. I was also worried about top spillage, (which is why I bought the size suggested in the other brand) but there's none. I like that the side pockets are deep enough to hold my phone without it sticking out (but it's a mini phone so if you have one of the massive ones, it might not). I also like the hidden phone pocket in the back for when you really want to make sure you're not going to lose it.The only thing that's a little disappointing is the colors, but that's just me. I would like a bright red, or even dark red. I'd buy more pairs. But this color is good for staying relatively cool in the hot summer.
