Conimex Ketjap Manis Sauce 33 Oz (1000 ml) by Conimex

We love this sauce! It is a staple in indonesian cooking. I used to buy them when in the Netherlands, but don't like to put the bottles in my suitcase. This was a much better option and a great price for a huge bottle.

Been using this for 60 years, I am so happy it is sold on Amazon. Great stuff to put into just about anything, but also use it for bar b que beef or chicken, the taste and aroma is the greatest

I am an avid cook and am especially fond of marinated meats. I had never heard of this particular form of sweet soy sauce, but after reading a recipe on a cooking website.......I purchased this Ketjap Sauce to make the Asian Marinade with wonderful results.Give this recipe a try, it's truly a fabulous, extremely flavorful marinade!ASIAN MARINADE:1 cup Ketjap2 cups water1 cup pineapple juice4 tablespoons sugar1 teaspoon ground ginger1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic, or 2 fresh cloves garlic; mincedMix all ingredients in a marinade dish. Cover with saran wrap and marinate in refrigerator (overnight, or up to 48 hours). Great for steaks, pork or our favorite......boneless skinless chicken thighs. Be sure to drain and discard marinade before grilling.

Good taste

Ketjap manis has a wonderful balance of sweet, salty, and umami. I put it in marinades and splash it into stir-frys with a bit of chopped garlic and/or ginger. Sometimes some toasted sesame oil. A great way to add flavor to soups and stews or a dipping sauce for dumplings. I'm glad I finally found it in a liter size because I go through it so quickly.

I use this soy sauce as a marinade and to cook with on stir frys. Tastes fantastic.

This is the first time I used this brand. Added the soy sauce and turmeric powder to my stir fried vermicelli noodles with onion, shredded chicken, carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and it turned out great. The sauce has a nice aroma which smells natural and not artificial. It is not like dark soy sauce which adds too much color to the food sometimes. Well balanced product with nice flavor.
