For the price, its great
I purchased this for a street legal conversion on a DRZ400 kick and for that purpose it seems to work pretty well. There was an instruction sheet included that listed the pinout of each of the connectors and the basics of how to navigate the setup menu. The one complaint I have is I cannot figure out how to get the tach to work. I tried connecting it to the coil input but that didnt work, I read somewhere online it might need to see the stator pickup but I havent tired that.Wiring this in is not plug and play, be aware that you'll need to have some experience cutting and splicing wires in.The speed pickup magnets included were useless for me, I ended up buying some small disc magnets and epoxying them to the brake rotor then 3D printing a bracket. This bracket is available on Thingiverse if you would like to print one for yourself. Search thingiverse for "DRZ400-E/S/K Speed Pickup Mount" to find it.Pros:-Inexpensive-Speed reported in km/h or mph-odometer/speed appears accurate-Saves settings when powered downCons:-Speed pickup is a little short, just barely long enough for me-Curious if these connectors are plug and play for anyone, for me they were useless. I cut and added my own connectors.-It doesnt feel waterproof to me, time will tell-It should have come with hardware to mount the display. It has two studs but having two nuts come along with it would have been nice.Would I recommend it, yeah probably. Its a fraction of the cost of the competition and has very similar functionality. The true test will be how does it hold up to the sun and rain.

Dead in a week
Worked for about a week. Turn on the bike one day and it wouldnt come back on. Jumping the positive and negative directly to the battery confirms that it is dead

Works....partially
For the most part everything works. Only thing that didn't work for me is speed. Not sure if it's the sensor or something else but couldn't get it to read speed.

Decent gadget
I put this on a 1975 DT400 with a Rex's 12v conversion kit. Looks decent, screen tends to "wobble" a bit with rpms, my guess is it's a result of slightly higher voltage. The volt meter and speedometer work well, but the tach is not inductive, and I haven't hooked it up to the coil yet. This unit seems to be designed to plug straight into one of the Chinese bikes, so if you are installing it on anything else be ready to modify it.Edit:. Attached the tach wire straight to the headlight supply and it works well off the AC headlight signal. It has trouble reading over 4500 RPM, but that is only because my bike has four stator magnets, making the unit read 18000 signals/min, or 300 Hz. Not a bad deal for $30.

Display died after a few months...
The display died on my unit after only 3 months. It did not appear to be waterproof, since the bike was briefly in the rain, and then the display died. I have searched how to get ahold of the seller and the company with no luck. Please help make this right.

Couple kinks, but works for what I need it for.
Put it on my dual sport build, couldn’t get the tachometer to work. Not sure what signal they’re looking for but I attached it to the coil positive and also tried wrapping the wire around the spark plug wire and neither read the RPM. Also if your bike vibrates a lot (I have a ktm 525 MX that’ll turn a man into a woman at full throttle) it’ll distort the display. Other than that it looks good and works for what I need it for.
