great bang for the buck
I waited for this to go on sale so I could finish a backsplash. The saw was able to handle a few dozen cuts with ease.

Excelente cortadora de loceta
Tenía mis dudas por los comentarios de otros compradores, pero me sorprendió que es una excelente cortadora de loceta, corta con exactitud los cortes a 45°, aclaro que cambie el disco.

Well worth the $50 - get it
This was a fantastic product. Once you get it set up, it's easy to use and gets the job done. I was cutting natural stone that was about 1/4 in thick, and I never had a problem. As others have mentioned, the water does get dirtier and dirtier the more you cut, but if you change out the water every so often, no problem! The saw blade that comes with the product is great - no need to buy another blade.I used this wet-saw to cut tile for a kitchen backsplash. I had only intended to use it one time and then throw it out (a great use of $50). However, after using it it's still in great shape. I changed my mind and I'm going to hold onto it in case I need it in the future.I do see how this could be considered "flimsy" or "like a toy" or "cheap" as other reviews have commented. However, these qualities did not effect the usability of this product at all, and it was easy to forget about them once you got started. Is it made from cheap materials - yes. But, if you're expecting something made out of metal (not plastic), and something bigger (not small like this), then you need to go and spend more than $50 somewhere else and buy (or rent) an expensive wet-saw (and for no good reason)!Just get this saw - it's all you need.

Very Light weight
For the price, this product is great. Because of how light it is, it does bounce around a lot and it slides backwards when you cut tile. So….if you put something down on the table to prevent it from slipping ( I used thin styrofoam sheeting) and put a 2x4 or something similar behind it to brace it and keep it from sliding backwards, it works well!! Be warned, the water saw WILL make a mess. Don’t use this inside your house. Use it outside or in garage etc. all in all I’m happy with it. Especially for the cheap price.

Excellent Tile Cutter
I bought a bunch of fairly thick subway tiles. Needed to cut some L shapes, and grooves for my kitchen. I've done tiling before and disliked my previous tile saw. It was a rusty piece of junk after 2 projects. Hard to clean, hard to use, used to get sopping wet.QEP is plastic. Easy to set up once you figure out how to slide in the blade in the right order of pieces to secure. The water tank is easy to fill. I overfilled and it leaked, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to monitor the water and add to, no stupid slide out tray that poured everywhere trying to push back into place. By the end of the working day, it had captured a lot of tile dust as putty. The shield keeps the water from spraying. Keep it low, bend over to cut and the water spray is minimal. Switch off and push the guard down and it catches all the spray as it slows to a stop. The casing recycles most of the water. For plastic, this is sturdy enough for my 30-foot tile kitchen backsplash. Easy to clean, it's not going to rust. I stuck it under the tap and cleaned the reservoir and table top, caught the wastewater in a bucket so as not to screw up my sink and pipes.Definitely recommend this.
