I am impressed with this. It seems well made, mostly metal construction with an Allen wrench to tighten the adjustment points so they are very secure. It attaches firmly to the corner of my standing desk.

I got new iPad stand mounted on my right side and I can without holding my hand so I can ASL sign language and watch movie! I love it!

I bought this to raise my iPad up when watching videos on it, since just using the stand had me always looking down and started bothering my neck. It came in a simple package, with just the stand and a small Allen ranch to adjust the stiffness. The arms are a bit restrictive in terms of angle (at least compared to gooseneck ones) and you can’t really move the tablet freely, but it works for my purposes. You would need to spend some time adjusting the angle and where you clamp the stand, but it does feel sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap. If it starts drooping with heavier tablets, just make sure to tighten the joints. I’m using it to mount my old iPad (9.7 inch 2018 model)

Works well on a microsoft surface pro

I use this armature for my iPad Air 5th generation. The iPad slowly slips down when clamped as the day goes on. I have to keep adjusting it to scoot it back up. I can’t rotate the iPad horizontally which would be ideal, as the app I use doesn’t allow for a landscape type view. You have to pull the “clamps” apart manually in order to adjust, a bit cumbersome because you need two hands. Not the end of the world, just don’t get pinched. The stand itself is sturdy. Does jiggle a bit when tapping on the tablet depending on the position of the arms. Would I recommend, yes as long as you can use your device horizontally/landscape. If not you might find your device slipping.

I got this for space saving purposes. I have a bed table and like to watch DVDs and read in bed with my feet up. Unfortunately, my DVD player is a little big and I had to take my Kindle off the table and put it someplace else to make room for my DVD player when I wanted to watch DVDs. This extension arm not only holds my Kindle at the correct angle for reading, watching YouTube, playing games, etc., it folds up to get my Kindle out of the way on those occasions when I want to watch DVDs. Works like a charm. The only caveat I have about it is that adjusting the tension on the joints is a bit tricky, but once you get it adjusted how you want it, it seems to stay that way.

I really wanted to like this holder, but it's too weak to hold a tablet in any position I want. The whole thing starts to slowly fall down. Also, the mount point for the device doesn't rotate so you can't actually hit the positions shown in the sale images. The build is fine but it's a little too limited compared to other adjustable arms
