What a truly WONDERFUL Product...! 5-Stars
What a WONDERFUL product. Beyond happy with my recent purchase. Outstanding quality, looks great (like real glass) and it's super easy to install (just buy a kit that gives you a sharp blade and quality squeegee and spray bottle, will make the job a breeze!) Was getting sick and tired at looking at my slob neighbors "hoarder yard" from my upstairs bedroom window. Didn't want to lose too much light so the "Reeded" glass design was perfect. Let's in plenty of light and the colors from nature in ..... but provides total privacy and I no longer have to look down on that crappy yard. What a blessing. Totally impressed with the quality of this product and how easy it was to install (I'm a pretty handy guy but truly feel someone who's not.. won't have any problems (just messure correctly and take your time).

Yup—it’s so cool!
Alright—if you’re looking for something that looks like reeded glass, it’s a slight miss, but, BUT, if you’re looking for extra privacy in your ground floor windows (I live in a townhome with high traffic past my front windows), this is PERFECT!Application is a piece of cake if you do it right—clean your windows the best you can, the better you clean them, the better the result…in fact if you take a lint roller to the window, you’ll get a little extra bang for your buck. Also, remember the surface you are preparing your film on…if you have a tabletop you’re less likely to have extra static pulling in hairs, compared to preparing it on a carpeted floor. Once you’re prepped, get the window wet and get the surface wet. You can use soapy water if you’re nervous, but regular water will work just fine. I was working with slightly larger than the window film, which worked nicely for me. Pop it on to the window and start from the top working your film downwards. I have a screen printing squeegee, so I was able to work out the bubbles without scratching the film, and then I cut it to size with a sharp razor blade. The light quality is diffuse, for sure, but I quite like it—it makes my kitchen so much brighter, even though it’s north facing! The film has been going strong for over a month, no problem, but I’ll update later in the year if the winters here change anything!I highly recommend this for renters who want more privacy, and my husband was quite impressed as well—$40 well spent for my large windows for sure!

Great product to update a glass cabinet or window
Great product to update a glass cabinet or window and stuck well to the glass without shiftingI have a small window in my bathroom shower that overlooks my neighbor's apartment. The window was previously wrapped with another window film that had texture but wasn't frosted, and you could still see many shadows and the outlines of whoever was taking a shower. I wanted a more modern window film, that still had a bit of texture, and was better at obscuring. This fits the goal.I also used this film on a cabinet door that had several small window panes on one side but was a single glass sheet installed on the inside of the door. My first go, I cut the film to the size of each pane which came out looking messy with the fluted reed lines not matching up. When I redid it, I decided to apply the film to the glass inside the cabinet which looked seamless from the outside.Installation:It is easy enough to measure and cut using the grid lines on the plastic backing. Just be careful to ensure that you are cutting it based on the direction you want the fluting to go. My first cut was horizontal fluting instead of vertical fluting. The plastic backing is difficult to remove. I found that using a piece of tape on the corners helped with separating the backing from the film. I then installed it using water and soap in a spray bottle, smoothed with a spackle knife, and trimmed the edges using a very sharp box cutter.

Works great, filters light and hides mess.
Love this product, it’s very easy to use and makes a huge impact once it’s done. My family thought I spent $$$ on new glass. My doors lead to an enclosed porch that gets pretty messy with coats and boots but we still wanted the light to come through. This window film was just what we needed.Clean your glass really well the spray with soapy water and put up, the hardest part is cutting but it’s very thin so a straight edge works really nicely. Smooth out any bubbles and you’re all done. The best part is if you want to remove it you just pull it off.

Perfect!
Film backing that gets peeled off after cutting has grid lines to help with cutting, works great! Stuck on with some water and dawn dish soap and a credit card to squeegy it out. Used on my front door glass so it couldn't be seen and it is great. Cannot see through, only can see if a light is on inside.

Looks nice but…
I have used window films many times but installing this was challenging. Grid on the back is useless unless you’re doing one panel… here’s why: I made the mistake of cutting several small pieces and then trying to peel the backing off - it’s impossible. Scrapped those, peeled off the backing from main roll, then cut from there. If you have to peel first then you can’t use the grid. In the end this looks good but I would not buy again.

Fancy fluted glass
Easy to apply and really elevates a plain piece to more high end.

Easy and looks great!
So, our tiny house front door window was totally see-through. After a curious little kid peeked in, I started searching for a solution. I found this "readed glass" film - it worked like a charm and was easy to install. #tinyhouse #tinyhouselivingIt looks great!!
