Beautiful window film!
I purchased for my bathroom window. It's easy to apply when you follow directions. It adheres to the window good and can withholding steamy showers without problems. It comes with everything needed: a small spray bottle, utility knife, and smoothing tool (if you're doing a big job you will need a bigger spray bottle). This is a very pretty pattern and when the sun hits the film the colors that display are so pretty. It's like looking at a color prism. I wish I had a big privacy window that I could use this on and just stare at. This film is truly captivating.**Update and helpful hints**I'm noticing that many purchasers are experiencing hardship getting the back to peel off. If you put a piece of tape on both sides of the film and pull them apart as it states in the instructions, it will pull apart easy. Also, using water with a couple drops of dish detergent (I used Dawn) does make the film adhere to the window. Shake the mixture gently so as not to make it sudsy. Apply spray over entire area of window to be covered. It's best to cut film with a bit of an overlap to the window size and then do the trimming with the razor tool while using the red edging tool to cut along where the window meets the frame. Smoothing is best if going from the middle out to the edges. The film will slide if you don't hold it firm to the window while trimming. It is going on two months since applying the film and it is still clinging to the window perfectly. It has been exposed to a steamy conditions from showering, hot temperatures in the 90s and direct sunlight. The only thing I cannot speak on at this time is coldness from winter weather. The privacy is great from the outside looking in. I have even turned the light on at night and went outside to look in to see if I could see in, and it provided a hazy distorted type of privacy where you cannot make out details of objects inside. I get many compliments from visitors on this film. Come winter, I will update again on how it holds up to a cold window.

Excellent product. Just make sure to use lots of water!!
Surprisingly easy to install well! Like the packaging said, when I opened it up, it looked like it would not have the filtering effect advertised (I bought the frosted glass variant). However, sure enough, when I stuck it to the window it looked perfect! I went outside at night, and turn the lights on in my apartment, and I couldn't make out darn near anything through the window! Excellent privacy. However, when you install it, don't use the dinky little spray bottle they include. Get a proper spray bottle, and SOAK the window in the soapy water. Otherwise it will not work well at the corners.

Excellent quality product
Needed something to cover the decorative oval glass insert for our front door. Curtains blinds etc. did not seem to be a good option. However, folks could see IN at night through the clear glass sections, and the frosted glass sections created a kaleidoscope effect with passing car lights while inside. Ugh. So despite having little to no success with other window privacy films for prior projects, I purchased this.It is packaged with the tools you need for the job. Instructions are clear. Backing is ruled however since I was cutting an oval I placed it over the door insert and traced the oval frame with a crayon. Cut that out, peeled off the backing (the hardest part). Used the spray bottle with a bit of dish soap and water per instructions. Sprayed glass. Placed product on glass, smoothed it out. Used the card thingy to remove the few bubbles. Next, I had to cut the extra (since I measured by the frame. Couldn't figure out instructions for the razor. Eventually used a nail scissor to cut the excess, a bit tedious but ok.And whaddya know? It's perfect. Thick enough frosted privacy that it evened out the clear vs. frosted glass panes. Stayed put. No bubbles. Still allows daytime light but night time problem solved. A great, inexpensive, solution.

Review on plain opaque film, directions, and privacy.
I used it for a back door window and it was reasonably easy to apply. Directions say you can't use enough (soapy) water, but I say you can. Lol. The good thing about adding a little excess water is you can slide the film around to get it where you want it. Directions also state to mix "1 quart of water and 1/4 mild dish soap or no-tears baby shampoo." I didn't know if that meant that 1/4 of the mix should be soap, 1/4 cup or what, so I added approx. 1/4 cup baby shampoo because 1/4 quarter of 1 qt of soap would have been the whole bottle of baby wash. It worked out well. I had to cut the excess on the window with the razor provided and that side is jagged, but it's so close to the edge of the window it's not very noticeable. It does provide pretty decent privacy, so I will be using a curtain in front of it for night time when the indoor lights will be on and it would be easy to see a person on the inside of the house. However, it will be good for day time to let light in. Not bad at all for the price. The only deficits are the instructions are a little screwy in a couple of places and that when I cut one side while the film was on the window that whole side is jagged. It said to have extra, which I did. I should have not had extra and measured perfectly prior to hanging it. But you might find perhaps a better razor will work for you and to actually hang it with the extra film it suggests, then cutting the excess.

Surpassed my expectations!!!
I had recently put window film on another set of windows that was manufactured by another brand. It was far more expensive than this one, but I thought I would try this one out for my front side lights by the door. This was much easier to apply than the other brand. It was a fairly easy process. I was also so impressed that they included all of the tools I needed unlike the other brand that expected you to buy their kit in addition to the film itself. The frosted aspect is great for privacy while still letting light in and looks great! This is a really exceptional product!
