Auraglow Handmade Blown Glass Art Planet LED Table Mood Lamp, Cordless Battery Operated Light, [Neptune]

A beautiful piece of glass and lights up at night to give a magical glow to a room.Also lovely range of colours, we now have two and will be purchasing more for a friends birthday present.

Bought as a gift so I was keen to see how it was received. My daughter loved it and has given it pride of place. The light emitted is just right for relaxing in the evening and the planet looks good in both light on and off modes. Very pleased, you should be too.

This is a small, attractive looking blown glass sphere. The one I bought is in various shades of red-ish brown, fawn and beige colours, and is designed to remind of the planet Jupiter (As an astronomer I have to say it is not a full representation of the planet- and doesn't claim to be).It is also a night light, and coes with two batteries. Strangely, I have hardly this latter function, preferring to keep it as an unlit ornament. As such several visitors to the house have seen it, and have remarked how unusual, and nice, it looks. Excellent value for money, I may yet get more for other parts of the house.(These are my own reflections on an item I have bought)

As you can see from the picture, the planet looks very much like it does in the picture, no complaints there. I was a bit surprised it's size when I took it out of the box though. Granted, the dimensions are listed in the item description but from the product images, I imagined it being slightly bigger. I've gotten around this but putting it on top of a glass vase that I had lying around and it looks very nice on it's little pedastle. It's more of a desk ornament than a centre piece but it is very nice to look at and feels decent quality.The battery life seems pretty reasonable so far too, I've not had to change the batteries yet and have been running it every night for over a week now.All in all, for £20 I'd recommend it, just be careful to take note of the size of you're looking for something bigger.

I love this light. Its different and lights up lovely. It's not a bright light but just right for what I wanted. The battery life lasted a while too.

I wanted a nice looking night light that also looked nice in the daytime , this does the trick as it's a nice weighted piece of glass with an eye catching design . So boxes ticked there .The idea of having replaceable battery's is excellent as I think the item will last longer .Bad points .I use this before bed so that I don't have to get out of bed to turn off main light.1. I feel that the switch underneath the lamp is fiddly and small . It would be better with a push button for on and off , with the switch been used as just the timer function .2. For me 6 the timer function is excellent in theory , as I'd like to set it to come on and go off so that I can tell myself to stop reading and go to sleep. However , I feel that 6 hours on the auto function option is to long , if you could change this to 4 hours that would be better , as for me using the set up and leave function , the light is on for 2 hours wasting the batteries ( this opinion may make me sound like my parents , telling me to tuen things off !! )

Really lovely little glow lamp. Beautiful on and off. Good battery life. Have now ordered Neptune and just as beautiful. Would highly recommend.

This is something a little bit different and really stands out. It was a bit bigger than I imagined, which was a nice surprise. I've placed it next to a 3.5" glass on the photos to give an idea of size. I chose the Jupiter which is quite dark when off but has much lighter shades when on, very warm looking shades of peach and grey stand out, more grey than my photo has picked up as brown. Of course, it's different from different viewing angles and each lamp will have it's own unique markings.All in all, a very nice warm glow that makes me feel cosy tucked up indoors when the weather is cold.
