Bought a new kitchen table and chair set and needed to protect it from myself. I used my last table like a work bench and didn’t want the same for this new one. So, I purchased this covering and was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered. First of all I received it 2 days earlier than expected. I could tell right away that this was high quality by the thickness and clarity. I unrolled it and placed some heavy objects on it to smooth it out. After that I trimmed it to exact size. There was about 1/2 inch extra all around to account for shrinkage. It cut very well with a box cutter. Fits perfect now. I found it cleans the best using glass cleaner and paper towels. This product is extremely durable and believe it will last as long as I want it to. This is an excellent product and I’m really happy with my investment. Definitely recommend this. Just be sure to use a new blade when cutting as it is very thick.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are nice and thick but not as thick as in the picture. The material is very clear. The only thing I did not likeis that when you put it on the surface, it creates a lot of bubbles that do not come out easily as it is laid down, but that is expected with vinyl or plastic. I bought several. They are easy to cut. The price should be a little lower. I am knocking out a star.

When I wanted to get this table my husband was worried about it being the textured groove wood instead of flat because with having 3 kids it'll be harder to clean when food and other things get smashed in it. I liked it a lot and it was a decent price so I chose to be blind to the cold hard truth that deep down inside I knew that would most likely happen. I also figured I could use place mats that they can eat on to avoid that happening. Within a months time one of my kids used a wipe to try and scrub out something sticky that had gotten on it and the wood got ruined in that spot. (See 1st picture). I then decided to use a table cloth which I don't like table cloths and my kids would always use the part that hung down as a napkin. So after a year or so I started looking into heavy glass to put on top but the cheapest I could find was about $400, which is like half the cost of my table that is already slightly damaged so I didn't want to spend that kind of money unless it's a brand new table which we are going to wait until the kids are older to buy a new one. I came across this and decided it's worth a try, most reviews are good. I put it on yesterday afternoon and it did curl at the ends but the note on it said I can use a blow dryer so I figured I'd put a couple heavy things on the end to flatten and use the blow dryer later on that night. By then the curls were already flattened so I didn't need to use the blow dryer. There was still a few ripples in it but I figured I'll wait to see if they go down too which by the next morning they were gone. I am really glad I went with this. It looks good (better in person than in my pics), it's thick enough to be sturdy, and it doesn't slide which I was worried about. My kids already made slime while sitting at the table earlier, so lucky me I got to test out cleaning a big mess on the cover within the first 24 hrs. There was many pieces of both tiny and big slime globs that were stuck to it, wet baking soda, about 9 shades of food coloring, and last but not least, mass amounts of smeared glue all over it. I said to myself, if the cover can be easy to clean after all this, I'm confident it can handle pretty much anything, and it was easy to clean and looked brand new again after! I was going to wait a few days to review but I think I can confidently say I love it and am so glad I got it. This is a long review so if you made it through, congrats! I read the reviews but nothing had me completely sold and for $80 I wanted to read stuff that had me feeling confident, so since I didn't get to feel that, I figured the least I can do is leave a thorough review for the next person in my shoes.

excellent product. good quality and thickness and just the right dimensions.Edit: It has been a few weeks of us using this product and I am so very happy. It is almost seamless in the sense that you still enjoy the beauty of the finish of your dining table yet it is protected from food spills and liquids. Will definitely buy again for the bigger size to fit our extensions on the side of the dining table.

I like this! People think it’s glass. Great shine, protection, and fit. It takes a few days to uncurl ( follow the instructions) but it settles beautifully!

So we ordered this and expected it to be a little oversized, as they say that but being and inch oversized in length but spot on in width seems less intentional and more just lack of quality control. The issue we have is that it’s so oversized in length it’s non functional as cut but it’s not long enough to just mold around the end, which would be fine. We are not sure yet what we are doing. If we will attempt to trim it or just return it.So be aware that when they save oversized it might be more oversized than just a little. A few mm on each edge would be fine but over an inch is a not functional.
