I will keep buying these notebooks. They are my favorite ever! The pages are very water resistant, in that they absorb water but dry out just fine with no wrinkles and you can't tell rain ever got on them. I use them all the time for science courses and I've never had a problem. The finish and feel of the paper is amazing and feels much nicer and higher quality than any sketchbook paper I've tried. Makes for a fantastic sketchbook whether you're using pencils or inks.

Fantastic little notebook. I used it as a journal as I traveled around New Zealand. It survived sand, rain, fresh water, a slight ocean dunk, dirt, rocks, and being constantly shoved into a backpack. It made it back to the u.s. and I referenced my notes to properly caption all the photos I took.

This field book is spectacular!! In my opinion, the pages are easier to write on and you can actually erase with a regular eraser unlike other ones. I found that the organization of the notebook is just as good as other more expensive notebooks but a shortcoming is that the pages are not numbered which is not a deal breaker for me. Aside of that, the only other difference to other field books is that there is no scale in a pocket in the back which once again was not an issue for me because I carry my own scale for pictures.

Good field book, easily carried and can be used in damp weather.

As a field engineer working in the industrial controls field, I need a sturdy notebook that will allow me to jot down notes, numbers, and the occasional ladder logic diagram under a variety of conditions, not all of them favorable. This hardbound notebook is everything I need and more. It's the right size -- not too big and not too small; it fits very well in one corner of my tool bag and it's there when I need it. Plus, it doesn't wear with age. In fact, I keep all my notebooks long after I fill every page of them, as they have served me very well as a source of reference from past projects.

This looks just like the one I need for my surveying class. It's a notebook, what else do you want me to say?
