Worked faster than the oral antibiotics from the vet. I ordered this ointment because it had been a hit or miss with the oral antibiotics, as my fur baby ( 11 yr old pitt/lab mix) her eye wasn't clearing up after a few days. After 1 day use if the ointment, the swelling around her eye began to decrease and there was noticeable improvement. She now lets me administer the ointment to her eyes without a fuss.

This is awesome for pet eye infections. We found some kittens in our field and their eyes were matted shut. We soaked their eyes with warm wet wash cloths until their eyes opened and used an eye rinse then put this stuff in the twice a day for a few days and it worked wonderfully.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:If you have kittens with snotty eyes they can go blind untreated!!!I’ve seen it happen. I rescued some kittens with snotty eyes that kept getting shut overnight. Use a warm damp washcloth, hold over eye. Don’t rub. When it’s clean get this ointment in as much as on the actual eye as you can. Just a dab will do. Saying it works better in the eye than on the eye lid Functionality:It’s the best product out there for snotty eyes.

I have not used the medication yet but I did want to point out that the metal box has a little dent in it BUT THATS A GOOD THING it means that my product was not damaged and the metal box did it's job perfectly! I don't understand why people on the reviews are crying over their box having a dent in it. I mean, didn't you buy the product with the box to keep your product safe in route? So 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me!

The box is stupid. It already has a dent in it. It dents really really bad. I should have bought The cheaper one that didn't have the box.

I have been using this for barn kittens eyes. It works really well. I really like the metal box to keep it in.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is what my doctor always prescribes when my cat get's a goopy eye flare-up. It works quickly... sometimes my kitty's eye is back to normal after 24 hours with this salve. She knows it makes her feel better so she lets me put it in her eye with no fuss.
