I needed some washers to use at a ground contact point in Florida. Due to our climate, anything that weathers quickly or rusts is out of the question. Along came these washers and they are simply exactly what I needed. They are vinyl, of course, so they're not going to be as strong as something more substantial, but they are plenty sturdy for the landscaping project I was doing. And, due to the vinyl, I don't have to worry about the local climate destroying them. I have lots of extras...I wonder what I will do with them.

This is a review for the VSHZXFH Clear Vinyl Replacement Washers.Overall Assessment: 4 StarsI was looking for some plastic washers to use for protecting a polished metal surface from fasteners going through holes to secure it in place; something the manufacturer of the product I was assembling apparently didn't consider necessary. These washers do the job and don't cause the fastener heads to be offset from the surface more than a tiny bit. Note that these washers are 2 mil in thickness, thinner than many of the zip-type plastic bags you use in your kitchen. They come adhered to a plastic sheet, which does keep them organized and flat, which I doubt they'd remain if they were shipped loose. You won't find a need for these often, but when you do need them, they're very nice to have on hand.

These are very squishy. I was expecting something rigid. They won't work for my purpose because the amount of pressure exerted on this washer makes it squeeze out of shape and out of place. That wasn't made clear in the description of this item.

The outside diameter is 1/16" too small, and so slides inside the glass shower door handle, instead of between the handle and glass. Now i have to go buy something else. THIS DOES NOT FIT.
