good quality and easy to store
painful to use but this is expected as I broke my arm a couple of months agao - finally got physio appt this Friday coming so will take my hand strengthener with me to show them - after using seems to be easier to make a fist etc.Physio told me to use this in basin of warm watter - much easier for me and not nearly as painful. Will certainly help in longer term - I recommend this to anyone with strength, flexibility problems in their hands.

Pricey by comparison
on being asked by doc ton exercise my hand i bought a set of egg shaped, a foam hemisphere, and this one. This was more expensive, despite a discount, and seems the most "straightforward" being a cutout of a foam sheet. That said the foam is high density and good quality and black is undoubtedly the sensible colour. Not sure the finger indents serve any purpose, and not sure how it may wear over long term use, If it had cost a few pounds less I would have been happier, but it feels a useful part of my exercise set.

Simple, easy to use.
I bought this product to help with exercising and building strength in my wrist , hand and fingers. I had surgery to my fractured wrist[pin and plate] and have been attending occupational therapy for many weeks to restore function to my hand. This piece of equipment can be used when you are sitting down, watching TV and supplements all other therapy or exercises that you may already be doing as part of your rehabilitation. The occupational therapist noticed a difference in my finger strength once I had started using this aid.The only downside to this aid is that it does have a distinctive odour, ? due to what it is made of.

Best 'stress-ball' you'll find because of the shape
I got this to help with my rehabilitation of a tendon tear in my wrist and have found it different to any other 'stress-ball' like item on the market solely because of its ergonomically designed shape. It is quite tough so gives a good resistance to work with and is easy to hold and quite 'grippy' which I like. I have also been using this on my non-injured wrist to build up strength as it was feeling a little weak and tired from overuse whilst my bad one was out. Highly recommended.
