MC 58mm UV Filter - Ultra Slim 16 Layers Multi Coated Ultraviolet Protection Lens Filter for Canon Nikon Sony DSLR Lens 58mm

The day I brought my lens I out this uv filter on it and I was at the beach and this great big pit bull wasn’t on a leash and it jumped at me and my camera, sand a slobber everywhere but the filter took the worst of it and this filter saved my camera from the full force of a pit bull dog, it was enough to send my camera which was on a tripod and me flying backwards in to the sand and I just replaced the filter with another one of these as it did suck a good job at protecting my prime lens.I was one of those people that thought I didn’t need a filter but my friend convinced me and it’s a good job she did because it saved me lens from impact, sand and dogs drool.It’s good quality and worth the money in my opinion

Well packed, delivered on time. Comes in card box cover with plastic case inside. Filter is seated securely in a soft, polyurethane type material which kept it well protected. Filter construction is a high quality plastic and a clear glass. Used on Nikon P950, fits perfectly, seems to be very clear and quality glass. Fits on camera body and also inside lens hood as I have it. No apparent degradation pictures and would appear to perform as intended. Only thing to note; installs and removes easily from lens body, but fitted to the lens hood it is a bit more reluctant to be removed but is very secure and not likely to fall out. Happy with product and well recommend.
