Very Small and light..... suitable for people with small hands or children- good for acoustic sessions, as not particularly loud, due to size, 'Mini' is a good description!!.....can make a nice variety of tones and sounds..... ☺

Not as smooth as larger diameter version?
i last bought a cabasa around 20 years ago. This one is smaller diameter and isn't as smooth or easy to play as the bigger one. Maybe it will 'play in' a bit over time.
