Works great but WILL NOT PLAY NICE in an x16 slot!
UPDATE: Upgrading this from 4 stars to 5. Confirmed that the below issue only happens with older BIOS boards. Flashed the BIOS and everything is all right.Found It works phenomenally. BUT ONLY IF you plug it into a PCIe x1 slot. If you plug it into an x16 slot, IT WILL cause a conflict with your GPU! I had to plug this into the second x16 slot on my MOBO because my video card covers the only other x1 slot available and OH BOY HOWDY... my GPU drivers didn't like that very much, I tell ya! If you do what I did, your video drivers will see both devices and have a hissy fit. And here's the best part... after I figured this out and removed the USB card, there's still some sort of residual configuration in the OS that still creates the conflict and won't install my GPU drivers! I have to wipe this PC and start from scratch. Again... great if you load it onto a x1 slot. But for the love of mercy, don't be a hot shot and try to plug this into an x16 slot.

Perfect way to add USB ports
I added a front panel USB and SD card reader that took up the main 19 pin USB connector on my motherboard, so was looking for an option to add another 19 pin connector. I had a few USB connectors that were part of my PC case that also needed the 19 pin hook up and I didn’t want them to just be dead. Easy to install, showed right up in BIOS and device manager and worked right away.

Buy if you like frying your usb devices
Lasted exactly 9 nine months since it was installed on my PC. Also, fried the device connected to it. I don't even want a replacement. I'm not risking killing another device on this USB card.

Plug n Play for me
Plug n Play for me on my Windows 11 System. This cost a little more but spent no time installing and it works!

It works for me on a Win 10 Pro system while others have failed.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the 2nd add in card I have bought from Amazon to add extra USB ports to an older Win10 Pro system. The first failed after a month and used an existing driver which was part of the OS. The device manager said it was stopped by the OS because of failure so I bought this one and it came with a driver disk and after I installed it all has been well. I believe having a dedicated driver was the key.

Fast, easy install
I had a motherboard without a USB-C header and I had a case with a USB-C port on the front panel, so I chose this card to bridge the gap. It has two different internal interfaces for case ports, so it is pretty close to a universal solution. Windows 11 recognized the card and all of the ports worked without any additional configuration on my part.I don't think that it is possible to have too many USB ports and I welcome the four additional USB 3.x ports this will add to the back of my new PC. I am pretty sure that I had under 10 minutes of effort into getting this going and I was very happy with how quickly this helped resolve my issues.

Great update for an old motherboard
Works mostly as advertised. All of the rear ports work fine. The internal usb c header works, but the internal usb 3.0 header seems to not be functioning.I’ll try finding drivers to make sure it’s not that and update my review if I get them working.
