This item is stunning! I never thought I would ever write review of a box file before today. It has a really high quality feel to it. The soft grey leather look exterior is complemented with a plush, velvet like, interior in the same shade of grey.I was concerned after reading the couple of negative reviews but placed the order anyway. I'm so pleased I did! It seems as though the manufacturers have actually listened to customer feedback. The problems others have mentioned were mainly around the push button to open the file....mine came with a stud fastening on a satchel like strap, it looks and feels so expensive!Really, really good quality! Admittedly, it's expensive for a box file but you get what you pay for. I bought this as part of a gift and I am so proud to be the giver of such a beautiful present, so unique.No complaints from me, quite the contrary. Worth every penny (maybe double) but don't tell the seller :)Top marks deserved here + it arrived a day early

A really nice grey box file, very happy.

These are high quality box files and I have gradually accumulated seven of them. To date all have been good (5 stars), but latest one had trouble with the latch being extremely hard to open, which has now broken just outside the return window, so downgraded to 4*

Sturdy, well made strong - excellent folders

I love stationery items and this beautiful A4 box file does not disappoint. It has the press stud fastening, is lined with a velvet feeling interior and has a ribbon to keep it open. It's got a large clip to keep paperwork safe and I paired it with the matching in/out tray. Very happy. 😊 X

Box files seem to be expensive for what they are, so it's tempting to buy cheap ones. As ever, though, you pay for what you get. Cheap box files have rubbish mechanisms, are fiddling to close and/or open, and damage easily.These box files, by contrast, ooze quality. They snap shut or open easily and with a satisfying click. The hinges work well.I'll be buying some more, as I've realised that I'm never going to have time to file most paperwork before it needs throwing away - but keeping things in random piles isn't working. So now everything's going to go in a box file so at least if I need to find something I know where to look.

These look great and are more stylish than regular box files. BUT they are really hard to open as the 'popper' on the side hardly has any effect. You basically just have to push the side of the box file in until the latch unclips. I ordered a lot of these and they were all the same so I didn't simply get one duff one.
