Q: What are the differences between TPU vs. PVC models?

The only difference is the rope, the other parts are the same. TPU is a much more expensive, much more durable material that will last longer in different weather conditions, and it's much more wear-resistant. I would recommend the TPU model if you want a good jump rope that will work for years.

Q: I'm 6 ft exactly, should i get the 9 or 10 inch?

Better get the 10 feet version, which can be adjusted to as short as approx. 9 feet. You will be able to find the right length for yourself.

Q: Will cutting the rope to adjust for user height change its weight?

Yes it changes, but not so much. It's hard to cut though, you need a wire cutter to do that. Usually we recommend to put the extra rope inside the handle if you need some adjustment of length.
