Refurbished piece of trash
It was never mentioned that the laptop was refurbished. It came to me with this weird bubble on the screen that I can't get rid of and also wouldn't charge. Later found out that it didn't come with a battery installed, so it only works while it's plugged in, which kind of defeats the point of being a portable laptop. Do not buy, it's not worth the money.

CHANGE HDD TO SSD
I RECOMMEND CHANGING the HDD to SSD to make this laptop Fast. You can add another 8gb ram memory stick.

it works great, but not efficient keyboard layout
I cant stand the touchpad constantly zooming and selecting things when I am working. I also dislike the size of the keyboard. stop re-arranging less common keys just to fit... there should be plenty of room for full size keys in a standard layout with a screen this big.

Such a slow machine considering the hardware and features
This checked off all my boxes prior to purchasing, it has an IPS screen (which most touch screens do, this is good for image/graphic editing and color presentation), backlit keyboard (which has 2 different brightness settings and can be turned off all from the same key btw), lots of available RAM space, big HD, convertible screen to use it as a tablet (although holding it is a bit cumbersome in this mode), trackpad in the MIDDLE (I absolutely hate this new left side trackpad on laptops trend, it isn't ergonomic or comfortable). After using it the past couple of months, it's really slow. I didn't expect it to be fast, but it's much slower than I expected. I even went ahead and bought an 8GB RAM stick (so I now have 12GB of RAM in it total) and it's STILL slow. I mean sometimes you wait minutes for it to process either booting from Sleep or Powering On, switching from one program to another (Photoshop to Chrome, Chrome to Spotify, etc), it's terrible. It's not like I'm running 3 or 4 or 5 intensive apps at one time either. I don't understand how a computer with these specs can be this sluggish. It's frustrating to use most of the time because of this. I also did not anticipate the battery life to be this poor. I thought it would have a typical laptop life but it's more like a tablet battery life. It will last about 3, maybe 4 hours of constant use on a full charge. That's not really ideal to me, in 2019, I think it should last at least 6 hours, though I don't expect it to make it past 8 or so.Overall it's been pretty disappointing. Probably get what you pay for though, a laptop with these specs and features should be upwards of $800-$1,000 so at this price point I guess it's just going to be sluggish.
