Works great!!
This is amazing! I have a small chihuahua-poodle mix (5 lbs, got the XS hammock) and he is very lively!! Cutting his nails was impossible to do alone. I paid a lot at the vet to have them do it, so having it done regularly was out of the question. I saw this and thought it was worth a try. This far exceeded my expectations. He didn't struggle or squirm. He just hung there. I was able to cut all of his nails!! I gave him a treat afterward and we were both happy. I am over the moon happy with this. Definitely worth the cost, will save a lot of money.

Great fit without pressure on the head area.
This is a life saver! I have 2 small yorkies with medical issues. They have to be sedated to have their nails cut . I decided I would try this and if it didn’t work then I would take to the vet for yet another traumatic nail trim. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I took a chance on this product . It cost a little more but it’s worth it . It’s a nice quality and I never felt that it wasn’t stable. In fact it’s very stable. I have been using several weeks now with the grooming table and it works great with the grooming table .

Not too bad.
Worked well as far as functionality. If you have a well behaved dog, this could do wonders. My dog is fairly young and did not enjoy this at all, but will keep trying till she get comfortable.

Too small
I got this for my cats a while back. They’re all very average in size, and but this only fit the smallest of my six cats. I would recommend getting some of the bigger sizes, as I felt it was way too small for my animals. The nail clippers it came with work well, though.

How to trim your cats nails, or as I call it, why did I bother with this
My review of a cat sling, that is designed to immobilize a cat so you can trim his nails, or as I call it , how to lose a pint of blood in a matter of seconds.Step 1, lay the harness on the floor, so as to easily place your cat in it.Step 2 , go get several band aids and some liquid skin to stop and or control the blood that is now running down your arm / hands / legs, etc...Step 3 , hang cat in said sling from the mounts you installed in the door frameStep 4 , go get several more band aids. If you want to know why, please refer to Step 2Step 5 , attempt to keep cat in said "immobilizing cat sling" , which is complicated by the cat flailing and hissing and scratching and being , oh how should I put it, being less then cooperative.Step 6 , sit down and make sure you don't fall over from the blood loss. I suggest splashing cold water on the face. Also, grab a few more band aids.Step 7, attempt to trim said nails.Step 8 , remove cat from sling by taring sling from mounts and launching it across your house. Please make sure to remove your cat from the sling before throwing sling, this is important.Step 9 place cat in lap and trim nails.Step 10, throw your now empty box of band aids out, put the empty bottle of liquid skin the recycling bin, sit down and try to remember why you got your cat so you don't push it down into a garbage disposal.

My new favorite grooming tool!
This is the greatest thing I have ever purchased! I have two very small dogs who fight me when I try to clip their nails. They squirm and panic and I am so afraid of hurting them that I barely take anything off and I don't do it very often. I put then in this and there was no need to even get them used to it. They were nervous, but my husband held his hands under their feet while I clipped and ground their nails. They stayed perfectly still the entire time. No pulling their paws from my hands or flailing around. Absolutely wonderful!
