Very good quality product
Have purchased several of these, they work well to keep batteries charged and to extend their life. Very good product and versatile. Each of my 12V automotive batteries has a PulseTech product attached as does my Ryobi 48V riding mower.

Works great
I have been using one of these same type chargers on my 2011 Chevy diesel truck and it works great. Extended the life of my battery well over a year. Finally bought one for my Harley since I don’t ride as much as I used to. I would definitely recommend this charger to anyone.

Nice, but.
4 stars for its efficiency and will absolutely take a battery to 100% charged, lots of charger don’t. They shut off when they think the batteries charged but often are only charged to 80-90%. Pulsetech drives them home. This charger will restart if there’s a power outage, making it ideal for a storage vehicle. The xc450 does not! I’d have given 5 stars if it had temperature compensation, but for some reason Pulsetech doesn’t do this? TBD if this will be an issue in extreme hot and cold. I’m not sure if I’d leave this hooked up for a week during the summer without temp compensation. You may dry out the battery as this floats/maintains @13.9 which would be a little high for a flooded battery in the heat.

Spend the Money !
I have bought four other maintenance chargers over the years. All of them were in the $40 range. All of them failed after a year or two. The last one gave me a BAD battery indication for my two diesel batteries that were less than two years old.Enter the Pulse Tech XC400 . It rejuvenated the two batteries overnight ! They are going strong !Very happy with this product. Hope it lasts ! More than two years, is it possible ?Hope this helps. May God bless !

Nice battery maintainer
I'm using this on my 2019 EZGO Valor golf cart battery. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks seems to keep it charged. Wasn't having any problems with the battery before I started using the charger. Only time will tell but the technology seems sound.

Charger was defective and not dependable for generator
I bought this charger in July & it started indicating bad battery after 7 months. The battery is new & upon connecting to another charger, it charged correctly. This charger was on an inclosed generator and never got wet or any other damage. It performed good for several months then kept defaulting to bad battery. After unplugging and reconnecting, it worked for several days then shut back down. Found out during power outage the battery was dead. Charger did not function properly.

Quality & Proprietary Algorithms
I have been using PulseTech products for over a decade with fantastic battery luck. Batteries last 8-10 years on average. With the addition of another collector car, I called up Pulsetech to speak with a product engineer about the much anticipated and waited for 4-amp version of the Xtreme Series. The proprietary and trademarked algorithms that were developed for the US military are still exclusive to PulseTech and the extra amperage will help a battery that hasn't been maintained. When a battery sits for any length of time, it immediately starts to build sulfates on the plates. Their algorithms are designed to eliminate them, not just shock them to the bottom of the battery case. It's that battery plate "muck" that kills the majority of batteries well before they have a failure due to vibration or operating conditions. If you want your classic or modern battery to last, choose PulseTech (based in the USA). My original X2 (dual station) is still running and if you have a single garage with multiple toys, the XC400 is compatible with the PulseTech Quadralink setup (one XC400 will maintain up to four batteries at the same time).
