Very small not. What. I. Expected

Perfect porridge pot - providing you are careful not to expose it to extremes of temperature. My last Chinese clay pot lasted 12 years with almost daily use.

My pot has a rough patch at the bottom, I don’t think they check the products before they ship to the customers, or even worse, don’t care. There’s also no wiring around it. Luckily I don’t intend to fry anything in it. Cooking rice is ok ( but then I know enough to be careful so it hasn’t burnt nor stick). Some reviews said the handle is too short, but restaurants in Hong Kong use them to do all in one pot rice so the handle need to be short to allow more to be put on the stoves, that, I don’t have any problem. I only want a very small pot to do hot pot for a vegan friend while the rest of us are not vegans so it does the job.

Mine does not come with wire protection which is traditional. Not the same as the picture. Disappointed!

Despite being stressed about the delivery date a couple of weeks down the line, these arrived the day after I placed the order, which was a real and pleasant surprise. Both in one piece, too, I'm glad to say, though you could maybe ensure this even more with the addition of a little 'FRAGILE' tape from now on. Just a thought anyway. Cheers 👍

the bottom (outside, not inside) is slightly chipped but probably at the manufacture stage;as the pot is so cheap so couldn't be bothered to return;a great size for 1-2 portion of clay pot rice. you can slightly burn the rice for crunchy bits but the bottom glazed layer inside makes it easy to scoop it out rather than it being stuck and hard to remove/clean.the only downside is the handle of the cover, which is slightly low in height and hard to grasp sometimes.
