Worked great! Lots of fun. Hit of the party as a 4 year old cake topper. There is a switch to turn off and on sound and mist.

These volcanoes are awesome! My little one is obsessed with volcanoes and she had a volcano birthday party. I purchased three of these volcanoes and set them up on the table and she loved them so much! She was really amazed with the “smoke” coming out from it and loved how it lit up.The best part of this volcano is that everything is included. It comes with batteries, a mini screwdriver, and the bottle to fill up with water. When I opened the box and saw it came with everything I was so amazed and so delighted. I didn’t have to look around the house for batteries or a screwdriver and for that I give it 5 stars.The only thing that threw me off was the sound it makes when you turn it on. I was expecting like a bubbling sound or whatever volcanos sound like when they are erupting, but it sounds like Godzilla. It was very funny and not what i anticipated. The sound only plays for a few seconds so you don’t have to worry about it. Either way it’s a fun little toy especially for a volcano enthusiast.

Cute toy volcano. Makes noises. But it never worked for the steam at all despite following directions exactly.

Used this for a cake topper for my nephews 4th birthday party. It is smaller than it looks so it was the perfect size for the cake. The cake was a big hit.

Bought as a gift for my 4yr old grandson’s birthday. He loves the dinosaur sound and the water mist (smoke) feature. He is having a lot of fun with it, but the water feature does require a lot of water to function yet has a small hole for water filling. It also takes a few pushes before the feature actually produces the “smoke”.

Very cute and lots of fun for my kid.It is very easy to use and set up. The "Smoke" effect is really cool and the noise is fun too.I only give this 4 stars instead of 5 because even with it off it still makes some audible noise as if the special effects noise wont turn off all the way. It wasn't a big deal for me just to show him how to remove the batteries when he isn't playing with it and he wasn't going to let me return it so we just accepted the flaw.I recommend this toy as it is a lot of fun but make sure it turns completely off before giving it to the kids.

Makes a steam eruption, but also makes a horrible dinosaur noise. My daughter would like to disown me every time my grand kids play with it because of the noise. Its loud and obnoxious.

The product has potential to be very cool/exciting. Unfortunately the quality did not give. It comes with a tiny screwdriver to unscrew the backing and place the batteries. The screw driver metal tip was deformed with extra uncut metal, so it couldn't catch on the screw head. Tried 4 other screw drivers but none of them were small enough to catch. We were using the volcano as birthday cake decor. So as you can imagine it wasn't used until day of my son's party. There was no time to go to the store and try to find a small enough screw driver so luckily I improvised (hoping I wouldn't destroy it in the process) and managed to break/pry open the battery cover with a flat head AND a butter knife. That took about 15 minutes to accomplish.
