I found it in orange to match my patio
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was glad to find colored polyester cords to match my paito. I need to tie down an outdoor orange blind and I was happy to find an orange cord. Very strong and easy to cut to fit. The weave is a soft but the multiple plied cord makes it strong. Loved the color choices.

Good strong rope for a great price
Got this rope to hold my sail shades in place, good strong rope at a very reasonable price, bought one and used it all so bought another very pleased will buy more in future as needed. This is an update to this review, I had the rope holding my sail shades all summer in Arizona, but this morning I found one had broken, so dissapointed as it is supposed to hold up to 250 pounds so will see how the rest holds up, I was going to leave them up all year but I may have to take them down for the cooler weather.

know what size and torque you need before making an order.
I normally keep some 3/16 paracord in the house, truck and shop BUT I had to up the size to 1/4" for some upgrades and modifications. The price was right and the quality works well for me. I used it to replace the cord on a branch trimmer that was almost 7 years old that get high torque when I pull the cord. I am going to purchase more later to replace the others I have.

Light duty utility rope, limited usefulness
DO NOT USE THIS ROPE TO SUPPORT HUMANS.This review is for the 1/4 Inch (7mm) rope, which is rated at 250lb.WHAT YOU GET: a hank of rope, 100% polypropylene, with a woven outer sheath.WHAT I LIKE MOST:- Good variety of outer sheath colors- Floats in water even when waterloggedWHAT I LIKE LESS:- Nonwoven core leads to safety concerns (see below)- Hard to untie knots- Absorbent and easily waterloggedThis rope's outer sheath is woven. I trust that part. However the majority of the rope is made from a non-woven fabric (see photo). This comes with two side effects.Firstly, the material tears easily. This translates to a rope with a low safety factor (i.e. can't take shocks well) - if it comes under sudden tension, it will tear rather than stretch, especially at pinch points or knots. Therefore you should use this for static loads only and certainly not for securing things that might move suddenly.Secondly, the core makes it easy to crush the rope sideways, as would happen if you tie a knot in it (see photo of figure eight knot which is concerningly small). When flattened, the core of the rope is more prone to damage.BOTTOM LINE:This rope is good for bundling, tying things down, and similar light duties. I wouldn't trust it in any safety-critical situation where it needs to carry anything of high value.
