A great bedside lamp - has three different light colours: Cool white, Warm white and Daylight, each with two different brightness levels.Easy to use by my 9 and 6-year olds. It does not get hot and the voltage is very low, i.e. same as a mobile charger so safer for kids. I've attached the instructions so you can see all the details.I tested the grip. Although the grip/clip opens up to ~4.5 cm, it's best suited to a grip a desk/headboard of up to 3.5 cm, to make sure the grip is firm.It's not rechargeable and has to be plugged in to work. I cannot detect any flicker when plugged in to the wall. It comes with a stand so it can also be used as a standing desk lamp.The entire lamp feels sturdy, well-built, including the plug and wiring.

This type of lamp is exactly what I wanted as a replacement for a similar one in my bedroom. It has different colours of bulb and brighter/dimmer options and does the job requiredThe power plug has a blue light on it and there's also a red light on the on/off switch. I would prefer it without either really as obviously they are noticeable in a dark room.Its also worth checking that the power cable is long enough for where you want it to go

- arrived on time in a small box complete with instructions- the lamp itself is quite small but very effective with 2 brightness levels and 3 modes of light - white, warm &daylight...all controlled by rocker switch on cable- clamp is strong and easily fits my headboard which also has a throw over it too so added thickness- comes with a plug where the USB port fits into and the cable is a good length- the light is perfect to read a book or kindle - the optician says that as you get older a person needs 4 x morelight to read and it is better from a light source originating from behind you so perfect for the headboard- noticed no flickering- really pleased with is so far

I adore this little light. It works as a clamp light but, also doubles as a bedside or table lamp with the added felt pad that you can fit to the bottom as not to mark your surfaces. It is a very clever simplistic design that works brilliantly.The stem of the lamp has the perfect rigidity to it, it's easy to mould/move into the position you desire and it stays there, no drooping or falling. The plug comes with a 2-metre length cable so no struggling trying to find a socket right next to your lamp. There is 10 LED's on the light head which I find plenty bright enough, you can also alter the light strength of the lamp. Overall it is a fantastic bargain.

Update - the switch is failing and I will soon have to bin the lamp.The light works nicely but it gets a little warm when set to anything other than cool white. It uses about 3 watts. However, the control switch is very flimsy and difficult to operate and I do not expect it to last very long. this is a shame as the light, itself, looks and works well.

Great little lamp I was just looking for a normal lamp but when I got it’it was better than I thought it was going to be it’s got 3 different light brightness on it all with 3 different colours. It’s got the old warm colour and 2 of the new type colours of today both different. But what a great little lamp it turned out to be. Well happy. Ps. And it’s really well made seems to be good quality. Would highly recommend this lamp.

I loved this lamp up until i moved its swan neck. It makes a horrible creaking noise whenever you move it making it very annoying when trying to get tosleep beside someone who is moving it around to get a better angle of light! Also dim function could do with being even less bright or have a full dimmable system.Positives are colours are good and light is good - just noisy - who would have thought it?

Ideal for my daughter's bunk bed. Stays where it is, and she can operate the switch comfortably herself (4yo). The light can be switched between 'warm' and 'cold', and bright and dim. The warm setting is very easy on the eye, and bright enough for reading. I wanted a mains light, so that I didn't have to fuss with batteries and charging. It's easy to tape the cable down the back of the 'leg' of the bunk bed, so that only the light and switch are visible. The quality is good, and the light doesn't droop.
