It's a lovely replica coin, but they've got the history wrong, or just chose a more familiar goddess for marketing purposes. This is Tanit, not Athena. The coin is a replica of a Carthaginian trishekel. Tanit was associated with Athena, but her origins are from ancient Carthage in North Africa, not Greece. The coin itself is nicely cast, with good detail and a satisfying heft.

This is a very cool coin. It has quite some weight to it as well; it's very solid. It fit well in my coin display case and looks great on my shelf. Would recommend to coin collectors or to people who like Ancient Greek things like I do.
