Ethernet pass through.
Bought these to install for ethernet pass through. Router on one side of wall and computer on the other side. Installed these and a short 3 foot cable in the wall between them. Worked great at a great price.

Did the job
I had a weird backing on the hole in my wall, which is on paneling. I needed to find out if the screws would line up with my weird backing. I asked question about the distance between the screws and someone responded and said it was the same as a standard light switch, which, if you look in the pictures, you can see that it is not. Or at least it’s not the same as my light switches. The seller actually responded to me with the correct measurement and so I did order it and I’m happy to say that it fit exactly like I needed it to.

They worked as intended! No issues here!
Purchased this product to install in a new studio I built in the basement of my house. I used this along with a Flat 50ft Cat6 Ethernet cable running from the main story of the house through the wall, flooring, and backside of the studio's wall. It is working and supporting my 1GB+ fiber-optic speed with ease. It's also very simple to install. Just measure the backside plug box, cut the appropriately sized hole in the sheetrock, add your screw plugs, plug in your cable, and gently screw the faceplate to the wall.
