This thing should definitely not rhyme with tornado, it’s super weak even on the highest setting and the two lower speeds could be topped by simply blowing with your mouth. Highly disappointed with this

Well I bought this fan to hopefully push my rooftop AC in my food truck down. It works for that but it's not powerful at all. I'm debating on returning it, because it's not as powerful as I'd hoped. I do like the design of it but it won't stay in the same position I point it in and I've had to prop it up with something to keep it pointing in the correct direction. Cord is long and I like the brackets on the back for the cord, also it's really quiet I wasn't sure if it was running at one point. If you are looking for a powerful air mover this is not for you.

Perfect air mover vertical or horizontal quite but strong to move the air across your body cooling you down.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement.I bought this to blow on me by placing on a desk in front of my bike when I ride indoors. It is woefully underpowered for keeping me cool in that task. I also have a Vornado 683 Pedestal Fan, which on paper should be weaker than the BXR but I can assure you that it is not.The specs on the Vornado website for the 683 fan say that on high, it puts out 389 CFM, which is a little less than half of the BXR, which is rated at 873CFM on high. I am stumped because the pedestal fan definitely blows more air.Other things I have issue with -1) The handles move around their axle with ease, so adjusting the position is easy but getting it to stay in that position is difficult.2) There should be rubber feet on all sides of the unit (and both handles, not just one) so that when you want to point the air upwards, as it shows in the photos in the listing, you're not setting the unit on a table or shelf on just hard plastic that slides around easily.3) I can't return it because the handles can't be removed once you install them. They click into place with no option to unclick them. That means it won't fit back in the box it came in.I am usually a fan of Vornado products, but this one needs quite a bit of work.

Read lots of reviews before purhasing the vornado bxr hd. Was concerned about the power of the fan.. after setting up (which was extremely easy) I found that the fan had a decent amount of power for the size. It's not meant to be a job site fan in my opinion or one that you would use to dry out a basement for example. Was not disappointed and glad I took the chance. VORNADO!!

this is by far the best fan I've ever bought it actually blows great cold air at me unlike every other fan over had its just great and quiet

you would think a vornado would really move some air nope maybe good for after you mop other than that it sux more than it blows
