It’s 100% leakproof — I’ve tossed it in my bag on busy mornings and not a single drop has escaped. The lid fits securely, and the included straw is sturdy and well-designed. I own this in 3 colors and it's been my go to gift as of late.This tumbler keeps drinks icy cold (or piping hot, though I've mostly used it for cold beverages). The navy color is a classic and looks really sharp – it's a deep, rich blue that doesn't show fingerprints, which is a definite plus.The insulation is where this tumbler really shines. I've left ice water in it overnight and still had ice in the morning. Even on a warm day, my drinks stay refreshingly cold for hours. I haven't used it as much for hot drinks, but the few times I have, it's kept my tea nice and warm for a good amount of time.The powder coated steel inside and straw are great for reducing plastic footprint. It comes apart in 4 pieces to clean fully (straw, sipper, lid, cup).The build quality feels really solid and durable. It doesn't feel flimsy at all, and the powder coat finish seems like it will hold up well to daily use. The lid seals tightly, so I haven't had any issues with leaks, even when it's been rolling around in my car.One thing to note is that the 40oz size can be a little bulky, so it might not fit in all cup holders. However, the benefits of the large capacity and excellent insulation definitely outweigh this minor inconvenience for me.I do have a silicone boot on it to prevent scratches.

After hearing several rave recommendations, I've had my eye on this cup for a while. However, I've hesitated due to the price. I finally pulled the trigger and wish I had purchased sooner. The capacity is large, but it doesn't look like I'm carrying around a bucket. I love the way my hand fits in the handle (I have relatively small hands, so this may not be the case for everyone). The color is beautiful and I get compliments all the time. It's also a color I like, so I notice it and it's a nice reminder to drink more water!My favorite feature is the beautifully designed twisty mechanism on the top that seals the straw and makes it spill proof. Between kids, cat, and myself, things get knocked over all the time, and adults also need sippy cups at my house. Love that I can chuck it in a bag and not worry about it though.My one complaint is that it's not technically dishwasher safe because of the finish! I believe other colors don't have the same issue, so maybe double check if this is a dealbreaker for you. There's enough other things I like about this tumbler to make up for the inconvenience of handwashing.

Perfectly designed and functional. I can shake my water if I have a flavor enhancer that needs to be mixed. It can be upside down, no leaks. I bet anything it fits in your car cup holder but I just throw it in my passenger seat because I use my cup holder for other things. Literally I just toss it like a ball, no leaks. Best water bottle ever. It’s durable and can survive being knocked to the floor from a small tray.If you’re the type to add stickers, it’s good for that. I lost my Stanley and I believe it was probably stolen at work because it’s not in my car. I bought this to replace it and added stickers so it’s easily identifiable and they’re holding up in the sink under a faucet.

I purchased this as I needed to replace another bottle I had that was TOO difficult to get cleaned the way I wanted it to be. I usually HATE bottles that do not have a flip down straw, because I will, without fail, spill it everywhere lol. It said it was "Leak proof"...oh yeah SURE it is.It was a pleasant surprise to see that it was indeed spill proof. I love the mechanism and it is very easy to remove the pieces for cleaning. I love this bottle so much I ended up picking up another one in a different color from the company's website as the color I wanted was not available on Amazon.I will definitely purchase this again in a plethora of colors.

I absolutely love this cup. I used it almost daily for a year. It’s sturdy and as long as you’re careful about closing everything it absolutely is leak free. Since it’s a Silicon straw it will take on weird tastes if you don’t clean it very carefully and are drinking drinks others than water. But I just clean carefully and it’s fine. This week, the handle completely snapped off on the top. Until then it felt very very sturdy. I was so bummed! But I filed a warranty claim with brumate and within a day they reached out, and within a couple days my replacement cup has been shipped. I so appreciate good customer support! It’s made me a Brumate fan for life!

I love the Eras by Brumate. The Dark Aura tumbler is gorgeous! Unfortunately, the straw holder inside the leakproof lid recently cracked and I can’t find a replacement lid on any website. The tumbler was quite pricey so I’d like to keep using it but when I try to use it now it provides half air bubbles and half liquid, rendering the tumbler useless. Brumate - please sell a replacement lid separate for the model. Thanks!
