I needed to extend the plug to one of the ports in a battery UPS for my modem. It worked great. Still in use and no issues.

This is a well-made adapter that does exactly what I needed it to do. My coffee maker has a black cord and the plug sticks straight out from the matte white outlet that's set against my white tile backsplash. While I couldn't change the color of the cord, this compact, high-quality adapter allows me to plug the cord from the bottom so it runs flat down the wall...which is a far more discreet and visually pleasing than plugging the coffee maker directly into the outlet and also allows me to have the appliance sit closer to the wall.I just acquired a new Nespresso machine that will sit next to my coffee maker so just returned to Amazon to order the two outlet down version. I'll post a review of the new version with a photo once it arrives and is installed. To sum up, this adapter is so much more well-designed and executed than your standard, cheap hardware store adapter. It's visually pleasing, made of quality materials, and well worth the price when you don't have the option to hide an unsightly cord or outlet.
