I'm no tiling expert but the missus said to have a go at tiling the hallway and study. So, to make sure the tiles were going to be in a straight line, rather than the walls, thought I'd best get a guide.This one came on time and was well packed. The guide turns off if it goes over the deviation threshold, but as it was on a steady flat surface (the floor) this wasn't an issue. The beam goes a long way and is exact. If I've a niggle with it, and it is only a niggle, I'd have liked the beam to start nearer to the actual device.I think the finished job looks ok, and the missus is well chuffed! She's now looking for more jobs for me to do :-( (I should have got a tiler in! )Thoroughly recommend this laser level, can't see why you'd pay more (other than alternative levels may have the laser closer).

This item may not be ideal. To achieve the desired functionality, it seems necessary to position it at a higher elevation. The included stand appears to be somewhat short. While the laser itself is commendable, the overall usability could be improved.

I already had a red laser level but was becoming increasingly annoyed by not being able to see it clearly in well lit rooms. This green laser is excellent, even in bright light and it was half the cost of my red laser.The unit is sturdy and comes in a handy soft case. Glad I bought it and now my red laser is redundant.

Does what it promises, and nice and bright. Good value for the money as it includes a small tripod. I did not however the 90 degree corner is not quite there. However as a straight line, for lining up picture on a wall, it works well. Nice that it has a spirit bubble in the tripod to make levelling it easy. Like the auto level when using straight on, just doesn’t work when angling the unit. However for the cost, i think it will be a helpful tool. If you want perfect accuracy you need to spend a bit more. It s a nice versatile tool. Very easy to read, even in bright daylight.
