Nice size fits perfectly in my small arthritic hand. This is the most powerful small fan I've owned. My previous handheld were cute pretty fans. But didn't move a lot of air. This fans air flow is excellent! Even low will blow you away. This is perfect for watching my granddaughter playing soccer in the heat. The highest setting is very powerful. Yes, your blowing hot air. But it's better than sitting in high heat stagnate air. Of course with this much power, you'll hear noise. In a large crowd or outdoors, the noise is blends in. I would buy this again.

This fan is amazing!! Powerful air flow!! It helps with hot flashes, great to take out on a hot day, versatile! I can set this on a counter or table to blow, I can hold it, or wear around my neck to blow on me. I have POTS, and this is so helpful to cool me off when the heat becomes too much.

I recently got the Playhot portable fan and overall, I’m really impressed. It’s powerful, the battery life is amazing, and it definitely helps keep me cool when I need it most. The only downside is that it takes a bit long to fully recharge, and it’s a little loud—but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. Still giving it 5 stars because it gets the job done and lasts for hours. Definitely worth it!

Reviewers said this is loud, and I agree. However, at home or doing work around the yard, I hang it on my neck, can adjust the angle and have a perfect breeze everywhere I go. I do like to use it at work meetings that get hot and stuffy, yet that's when the volume of even the lowest setting makes me feel so conspicuous and I end up not using it, or tucking it down by my feet in a bag hoping the table muffles the sound. I works well for traveling too - put it on my end table and was able to have a nice breeze at night. On a low setting (1-2), it would run about 5-6 hours before the charge died. Perfect for sleeping though.

This fan works really well. It is slightly noisier than I would like; however, it has a strong flow of cool air. It seems slow to charge, but holds the charge quite well. We used it in the car for a long trip during a heatwave to aid the air conditioning in the back seat. It worked great. I would recommend this purchase.

this fan is amazing. even on its lowest setting i am able to stay cool. take it from a mom with hot flashes who doesnt go anywhere without a hand held fan. this one is so compact my daughters fit it in their purse and took it to an outdoor concert had it on for a long time and used almost no battery life. a must have. we now have three of them in our house.

After being very disappointed with a different hand held fan, i purchased this model which has 5 speeds. Speed 5 is quite strong (and noisy) and on a hot 97F+ dry climate it was able to cool me down. I understand why in order to be able to have 5 speeds the engine needs to be noisy, i do wish it were a little quieter. Fan power for me is more important and over time I hopefully will not hear the noisiness.
