I bought this replacement Firestick remote after my original one stopped working, and I couldn’t be happier. It paired quickly with my Firestick and works flawlessly—just like the original. The buttons are responsive, and the build quality feels solid. I love that it has voice control too, which makes searching super easy. Great value for the price and a must-have if you’ve lost or damaged your original remote. Highly recommend!

I bought this replacement remote after accidentally washing our remote. This replacement hasn’t disappointed! It has been easy to pair, we love the voice control, have had zero issues with the battery.It looks just like the old remote and seems super durable!

I was able to pair the remote and was connected to the firestick in about 5 minutes total. The instructions were very clear and included pictures so there's really no way you can go wrong with setup. I was also able to get it to control the TV as well, so I don't need a separate remote for volume control. I also tested the other buttons functionality, and all of them work properly and open up the apps. It looks just like the regular firestick remote and is the same quality. I can finally delete the useless firestick apps because they rarely worked. If any of my other remotes fail to work again, I will be purchasing this one to replace them again.

Works good doesn’t seem to want to update

I didn't need this because the included instructions fixed my old one. I will keep this new one as a spare.

Please let me know if you have had this issue and it was resolved.So it turns out our problem can't be fixed by a simple replacement remote and technical support gave up on our issue and hung up on us. Way to go Amazon!Our story goes like this. We travel around Florida in our RV so we use our Hotspot for wifi (this isn't unusual in the RV world.) A hurricane was coming so we took what we could and left the RV at the campground while we took refuge in a hotel. Of course we brought our Firestick and remote to plug into the TV so we weren't at the mercy of the limited hotel channels. It worked great!The problem happened when we left the remote at the hotel room, but they said they didn't have it when I called. So we bought this remote to replace it.Now for the catch 22!To pair the new remote, the firestick needs to be online. To get the firestick online we need a remote to be able to navigate to settings. Do you see the problem?If you didn't know already, the firestick will try to connect to the last wifi it was connected to which would be the hotel that is quite far away since we were escaping a hurricane.Apparently, Amazon didn't plan for this scenario so there is no solution. Since they didn't have a solution, they stopped giving a crap and hung up after having us try various solution that didn't work for 40 minutes.If you have read this far, then you might have had the same issue. Heed my warning and don't think you can fix your problem with just buying this replacement. You might have to just buy a completely new firestick and start from scratch. That's one way for Amazon to get more of your $$$, i guess.

I just bought two of this to replace another company's replacement remote that didn't work. I thought all these copies might be problematic after the last try. But these are GREAT! I'm happy with the quality, how the buttons work, and really love the extra buttons you can assign to apps or even functions like "skip forward 2 minutes." And, if you hold one of these buttons for a few seconds, you can instantly assign them to a new function. These are better than the factory remote. So glad I found them.
