Seems to work. No more geese landing/milling about in our yard

Don’t waste your money - it doesn’t work. This photo is day 1 and it didn’t deter anything. The product is made of very cheap materials. It’s corrugated plastic and the wood poles broke the first and second day (you get 2 wood poles). The metal spring is the best part.The geese aren’t affected by it at all and keep coming back.

We named ours Carl. Since we are dog people without dogs now (so we can travel to see kids and grand kids easily), he functions as a virtual outside pet as well as keeping geese away.

I was pleased with the construction of this item, well made and easy to put it right to work. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for the ducks we have around here and what a disappointment that was. There are a couple that come and pay me a visit most every day and leave me one or more of their gifts on my walk, driveway and the stoop in front of my front door. I have tried about everything I know to try to get them to go away and they just look at me defiant.

Bought three (3) of these bad-boys to scare a flock of geese off our backyard. Actually worked for a while until they realized the dogs weren’t a threat. That said, other 4 legged critters like DEER and FOX keep their distance!Construction is excellent. Mounts on a spring base which has really held up well in very windy locations!!!Can flaps and gyrate wildly without visible damage. That said, the WOODEN STAKE can snap easily and all have been replaced with aluminum (Home Depot). These will last years if stored properly over winter. Our same-sized black dogs have grown fond to them🤣🤣😎..

It's kind of a cheap cardboard cutout of a dog - not 3d.Geese didn't seem to bothered by it at all, and we did follow directions of moving it daily and also reinforcing with human intervention.

Don't waste your money. While easy to install, the geese aren't phased by this fake dog. I wish I'd taken a picture of this but I didn't. The morning after I installed the fake dog I went onto my deck. In the yard below were about 15 geese surrounding the fake dog, which was moving around in the light breeze.
