A nice product
I bought this for a '69 Chev C10 with a 250 in it. Haven't started her up yet as I have some other work to do but I don't expect any issues. It showed up packed excellent and looks great _ dropped in nicely, comes with decent instructions. I recommend also purchasing this company's pigtail kit for the battery and tach connections. I will follow this up but the distributor gets a full thumb up upon what I ordered.Thank you SW Performance.Follow up: 800 rolling miles. + one winter with 15° starts. Excellent startup and smooth running - never a bug out. An incredible improvement.

Cheap, good quality replacement for a points distributor
The media could not be loaded. Finally decided to change the original points distributor since the breaker points were failing, and I must say: Great value. Car starts right up and responds immediately. No issues installing except I didn’t setup the firing order correctly at first, but that’s on me. (Although better instructions could be provided) Timing on both the vacuum and inertial advance works great, no issues at all. Wires were a bit hard to connect to the distributor cap, but silicone grease helped a lot. Only thing worth noting is that you need to buy the plug and wires too if you want a seamless install.

Defective
It was great for a couple of days then car started it started to backfire when giving it gas. Decided to check everything and found that the number one spark plug wire had broke already so I fixed it. It didn't solve the problemso I found out that the ignition coil had had already when bad in just a few hundred miles. Loved the but now I have to get replacement parts.

So far Good Unit
I liked the unit i was able to find and it had a great price, however once installed I had no oil pressure, when removed and compared to the original in my 1959 GMC 270 the new unit was .600 in shorter, and after an email from the manufacture it was discovered they didn't make a unit for a GMC 270. And appears no one does, so a little welding and polishing the new unit is .600 longer and NOW it starts right up with good oil pressure. I will buy other items made by this company.

Great replacement in 63 Chevy 292
Bought this to replace a bad distributor in my 1963 Chevrolet K-10 pickup. Super easy to install and it fired right up!
