I can’t say enough good things about this cat food! My cat absolutely loves it, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in her overall health and energy since switching. It’s made with quality ingredients and provides the perfect balance of nutrition.

Had to change his diet so now Mr Henry's eats this as well as a mix for his skin.. The vet said regual cat food was given his kidneys a problem.. So once it was changed he's been acting like his annoying old self again.. And that's good.. It broke the Misses heart who has a love hate relationship with him was asking why isn't he eating!?.. Very hard to see a critter who is just looking at his food and at the same time head butting you.. Thats when I took him to the Vet.. Took him awhile before he got use to the new food so I mixed the one for his skin with it.. Finally got use to it.. So his a healthy kitty once again..

The item was good and my cat is eating it. The problem is that I was charged $22.00 for the exact item and size I can buy it locally. Didn't know I could get it at my local grocery store for about $11.00. Live and learn.

It came highly recommended by my Vet. My cat has not had any urinary issue since I switched his food..

Male cat that had issues urinating. Within a month feeding this food seemed to help. 3 other female cats are eating it too, because who can feed separate food to cats. LoL. I think they think the food is kinda bland, but if they get hungry enough they eat it. And healthy is important. So long as they don't have temptation of more flavorful food they all eat this just fine.

I ordered this a 16 pound pound purina urinary formula by mistake. I usually buy them Purina senior which they love. I have 9 cats. Not 1 of them will eat it. I don't know if it is the taste or perhaps the big hard round pellets. If it was1 or 2 cats I could understand it. As cats have their own tastes, but all of them.?.

Expensive but worth it if your animal has urinary/bladder issues

Been using this cat food for a couple years since one of my cats developed a kidney stone. After dealing with that and talking to the vet and being prescribed an expensive brand of food, I took research and matters into my own hands.Since I did not want to have to feed my 3 cats 2 different types of food, I had to economize and figure out the best thing to accommodate the urinary challenged one. A bit of research determined that other than some base ingredients (chicken/beef/lamb/etc) the core "difference" between standard cat food and urinary tract style is more or less the reduction/elimination of magnesium. Armed with that knowledge, I set out on a quest to find something to replace the Hills Prescription C/D my vet was raking me over the coals financially.While I will agree the Hills brand food is more than likely higher overall quality and probably is "better", this Purina formulation matches close enough (particularly on the magnesium content) that I prefer this for my cats. It sits squarely at the intersection of value and performance as all three of my cats have been on this particular food for several years now and are as healthy as ever. The one that was prone to crystals forming in its bladder (ie the 2000 dollar cat) has not occurred since and shows no signs of recurrence in subsequent visits.
