I purchased the needles in the hope that by the eye would be larger. However, it is not. Otherwise the needles are fine.

Good for sewing silk
I bought these because they are a good size for sewing silk. I have a lot of shirts that are too large for me now and I am going to do some experimenting with my sewing machine. It is a singer and these say that they fit that.
