adding on to previous review - I've seen comments about how this product is not working etc etc. It could be that your freezer isn't cold enough or you didn't keep it in long enough. I've been through those issues and had to adjust on my end. Once it turns bluish white its ready. Any hit of purple its not. Or maybe the liquid inside wasn't up to spec? could be any one of these if its not working properly.previous post: This product is incredible. We line the bottom of our coolers and place our bag of ice directly onto it so the ice stays frozen. If you need to keep product frozen, sandwich the items between 2 of these cooler packs. If you can wrap it in bubble foil or a mylar sheet better yet. A friend who lives in an area with occasional rolling blackouts, lines his freezer with these packs and its saved his contents on more than one occasion. Some tipts:- it needs to "cure" in the freezer for at least 3 days. Put it on the bottom so its not exposed to warm air during the open/closing process until it turns bluish-white.- don't take it in carry on baggage as an "ice pack" as if/when it turns back into its purple liquid form you will have to surrender it to TSA.- whatever it makes contact with it will freeze so never put it in direct contact with anything that shouldn't be frozen like your beer! They have different series of Tundra ice packs for this purpose.

I am upgrading from the attic series small to a medium tundra just to keep my drinks colder throughout the day in my lunch box. Yesterday my salad was frozen so I’d call that a win.

These are incredible ! I have several , in different sizes. Stays cold for days! We put cold drinks in our cooler when we go on rzr rides, by noon, the drinks have ice in them from the ice packs,,, LOVE THEM !Pack some in our large cooler with frozen meat when we go to Arizona for the winter, used to have to drive straight thru, now we do it in 2 full days. Everything is frozen solid when we arrive !

They are cold. I put the thermo gun on them when they are cold and come out of the freezer and they register at -12 to -13. I put one in my big lunch box that is insulated and it thawed out and was back in a liquid state in about 6 to 7 hours. Put the gun on ice pack when home at 10 hours and ice pack was about 41 degrees. Was surprised that the material they use for making it cold completely turns back to liquid. It did keep my lunch really cold for a good 6 hours using just one of the ice packs. There were three different ice packs from the same company to choose from and this was the coldest. Glad I did not order any of the other two or they would have thawed out long before this one did and I would not have been happy. My lunch box is a Titan Deep Freeze 30 can. It's big. So the ice pack fits in the end of my lunch box just right. I had chocolates in my lunch box and 6 hours later they were too hard because of the cold. If I put two of these in my lunch box I am sure that the box would be a whole lot colder and last probably the 10 hours or more

These ice packs maintain their frozen state for quite a while. At the end of the day, there was frost forming on the exterior of the packs.

These make all the difference in the world. My wife use to pack delicious salads without these. If I didn’t eat around 11, the whole thing was room temp and lost its crunchEverything changed when I ordered these. I put one on the bottom and top of the salad bowl. 1000% difference. Not only did my salad stay cold and crispy, it kept my whole lunch box (Engel 19 Quart) as if it was a mini fridgeCouldn’t believe when I took my first bite of the salad, Ice had formed at the bottom (I’m not kidding). Works the same way for sandwiches with cold cuts and cheese. It was like grabbing all the stuff from the fridge and making a fresh sandwich!I can honestly say, money well spent.

It says to freeze for a few days. Even after a week they didn’t freeze properly. I was trying to replace smaller, cheaper freezer packs but they still beat out these packs.

Best cold packs you can get … we use them in our soft sided cooler and they a great .. we even got a little ice in our soft drinks!! Although they say for freezer foods they are perfect fir your cooler!!We will only buy these purple cold packs from now on! They are the best!!!
