Excellent value for this standard Masterlock brand product. It is exactly what can be found in retail big box home improvement stores at a better price.Very easy to set your own combination following easy instructions. Handy to keep combo's the same. Hefty lock at the upper end of size/durability of padlocks.

Build quality is excellent, locks have good weight and appears to offer good security protection. The combination set up was easy to customize a 4 digit combination. Plan to purchase another set of Master locks.

Very easy to change the combination, and opens very easily. I use them in a pair of Rigid boxes, so they fit perfectly and work very well to get my boxes locked. The numbers could be a bit darker so that I can see them in the early mornings, but the color is just fine, as long as I use a light. They feel heavy, so I'm sure they are very durable and will last for quite some time.

I have used over three dozen of these locks for various applications. Some are used in harsh ocean coastal locations. When the lock shows first sign of corrosion, I replace it and soak the older one in WD-40. This extends the life of the lock. You can’t go wrong with these Master Combo lock.

This lock is tough. Thick and heavy. Looks great, awesome quality. My only issue is the dials for the combination are small and difficult for me to move. I have big hands and these small dials are hard for me to turn without accidentally moving another one. So now I use a small screwdriver to click each number into position. Very easy to set up the combination. And it is a nice sturdy lock but the dials drive me crazy. Takes too long for me to open. So I took away a star. But it's just because of my hands. If you don't have large hands it may be easier to use the dials. I still feel they're too small for such a large sturdy lock. Almost like it doesn't match the size. It should've been a 3 number lock with wider, easier to move dials in my opinion. I'll be looking for a different lock.

I beams out in my yard and noticed the two padlocks on my gates. I open them about 4 or 5 times a year and don’t oil the padlock or do any maintenance. They’re just left out in the weather year round and they always work. When I saw them today I realized it had been a long time since I bought them and thought how nice it is that a product actually lasts and I don’t have to think about it ever, much less replace it. So I looked it up and I bought both in August 2018 and here it is almost 7 years later and they still work great and don’t show any signs of wear besides some minor fading.That is what I call a fine product and there aren’t too many out there nowadays since everything became disposable, so I wanted to write this long overdue review since it’s so remarkable to me. Now I will say, they cost $9.49 back in 2018 so the price has doubled, which isn’t great, but that’s the way of things too nowadays so there’s no sense complaining I’m just really happy there are a few solid products still being made out there, and this lock is definitely one of them.

These are large heavy-duty locks. They are well built. The dials turn crisply. It’s easy to set the combination. With the combo mechanism on the bottom, I’m expecting that the mechanism won’t see much rain for outdoor use. Caution. Larger than I had imagined and they didn’t fit my Rubbermaid Storage Shed. They probably won’t fit most lockers. However, they did fit my fence and wood shed, which have larger hasps. Check the size before you buy.

I like these locks. Very good quality, perfect for my use. The combination setup was fast and easy.
