Good Bag
The overall size footprint of the bag is somewhat small, but it carries plenty. This is a bag that I've used while foraging, traveling overseas, and just as general use. I haven't exposed it to too much moisture yet, but I don't have a reason to believe it'll just fall apart. If it broke tomorrow, it would have been just worth it, but it hasn't shown any signs of wear after about six months, and I'm hoping it'll stay in good shape for a while.

Nice enough but with a flaw
I should give this bag three stars but I'm going to be generous.Nice enough and I appreciate the fact that it's a lot lighter then my similar sized canvas bags.And it was because I was looking for reduction in weight that I purchased this. In that I am not disappointed.But the flaw is that the two outside pockets are so small is to be almost useless.They are wise enough to hold myself on but so shallow that half the phone sticks out so it's not very secure.And they are not wide enough for a wallet or notepad.So basically asa practical matter that only leaves you see one large pocket for everything.But other than that the bag is nice enough and I can get some use out of it, but not as much as I had hoped

Well made bag
I use it as a possibles bag for a Civil War rifle. It easily contains all the supplies I need to shoot and range clean the rifle. Everything goes back in the bag after the range session, making it less likely that I’ll leave home some essential item such as musket caps. The bag is well made and appears durable. It also has two outside pockets to carry other items that you wish to separate from general bag contents.

On a good day this is 3 1/2 inches ‘wide’.
IS ~10” from side to side.IS ~8” tall.IS NOT 7” deep.Which is odd because of several other Rothco products, each has been as described.Will keep it as my intent was to use this as an extended fire kit & dry tinder forage bag.Coincidently, as I write this on my iPad, the iPad fits in easily.
